And 4) In Galatians 2:20 when Paul says, “I am crucified with Christ, but nevertheless I live.” In brokenness he found life.

There is a point each of us needs to come to even AFTER we’ve come to Christ. We need to be broken. Desire to know God and seek Him, and then ask Him to revelate Himself to you.

Matthew 5:3

When God, the Father, asks, “Where is My dwelling place? Where is my rest?”, the answer is: “In you.”  In this podcast we look how brokenness leads us to a place where we are at peace with God, a place of rest for God. Brokenness is God’s work, but we must allow it to happen.

Servanthood is not only doing what is right and good, but also doing it in the power of the Holy Spirit. Being a servant is more than what you do, it’s why you do it and how you do it. It’s not just the obedience, it’s also carrying out the act of service in the Spirit, establishing both the heart and motives of God in how we serve.

SageTalk pauses to consider and pray for believers around the world who are being persecuted for their faith. Al and Paul share numerous stories of friends and co-laborers around the world who have been denied access to property and education, who have been beaten, even martyred for their faith. When one  suffers, the body of Christ suffers.

Hebrews 13:3

How does a follower of Jesus practice the presence of God and then, how can he or she help others enter this same level of transparency with the Father? This allows us to have a deep level of participation of life with our brothers and sisters.

I John 1:3-4

Transformation comes as the presence of God becomes real in our heart and life. So often greater transformation occurs in five minutes in God’s presence than in 52 weeks in the pew. So important is removing the veil that separates us from God—God is not robbed of seeing you, but you are robbed of seeing Him. Your life would be so different (transformed), if you would truly see Him.

2 Corinthians 3:18

We long for greater degrees of experiencing spiritual transformation, but we are often anxious when we don’t see more. Al and Paul discuss God’s desire for us to be conformed to the image of His Son, and how God has graciously given His provision which makes this possible.
