The Dog in the Hollow is a very well-written book about a pit bull named Goose who has a chance encounter with a man who may just need him as much as Goose needs a kind-hearted human. This book deals with a serious topic and isn't for the faint of heart. It is gritty, honest, and beautifully written.

Protect yourself from the lost dog scam by asking questions, taking a breath, and making sure the caller is legit. Please share with you dog owner friends so we can alert people to this scam.

We often get asked how we were able to get our dogs to the ages of 17.5 and 15 years old. While we can't be entirely sure, we've compiled a list of things we think help contributed to their long lives. Remember, we are not veterinarians so this is not to be used as medical advice, just things we think helped our dogs remain active and healthy well into their senior years.
