Den 29. august 2014 talte Jeppe Søe i 24 timer uden pause og uden manuskript! Jeppe Søe har holdt foredrag siden 1996. Søe taler altid uden manuskript. Han har en fast holdning til medier, mennesker og samfund – og ud fra det fundament gør han hvert et ord aktuelt, så foredraget altid passer til dagens nyheder – eller til tilhørerne. Nu talte han i et døgn – som blev streamet live til ekstrabladets hjemmeside og på facebook. Foredraget var både med udgangspunkt i de emner og foredrag, som han allerede holder – ligesom man enten på nede havnen eller via nettet og sms kunne komme med stikord, man gerne ville have ham til at tale om. “At finde ord og kræfter til at tale uafbrudt i 1 døgn, er en kæmpe sag. Der er jo publikum på, så det hele skal give mening i alle minutterne og være ord, jeg kan tåle at høre igen og igen”, siger Jeppe Søe om udfordringen.
