This is a weekly podcast with me, my mic, and my friends. We call our weekly segments a Pod’n Meetin’ and it is released on midweek service day... Wednesday. I also do interviews that are released once a month or whenever I can get them released with some of the wonderful folks I’ve met over the years. I have no huge ambitions with this other than to share a story and hopefully have a laugh along the way. I am a pastor and was raised in a pastor's home. I've had the high honor of meeting some special folks along the way. It's my desire to have some meaningful conversations and give hope to someone who needs it. Hershall is my one listener! God bless!
Hershall, we managed to pack 63 minutes of time into 3 minutes of content... so that should give you a clue on what you are about to experience. By the title you should be able to ascertain (big word for find out with certainty) that Brooks is on another offensive kick. Also, by the title you can catch the drift that some unnamed soul (the servant who typeth these descriptions) is struggling with hearing still and it ...
Hershall, we ended with a tough conversation about waiting on God. It was a needful talk... Before we got there, we heard some good OLD songs and relived the past in a song. We had some feedback about whether or not we should pray over our pets and Deacon Dustin quoted another song wrong and Brooks pounced on that mistake faster than Trump with a Tariff (that was for all the people who faithfully read these descriptio...
Hershall, Dustin is WHAT?? I hope all is well with you if you still listen to us... Maybe if you don;t you will start again afresh today. We had a rather significant happening today. I made the executive decision to ban a certain entertainer from this podcast... to cleanse the cast I had to use several songs and I think it worked. We talked about some important stuff along the way though. Things like: hobo's Sha...
hersh, let me warn you, it takes all the way til the end of the episode, but brooks gets redeemed. yes I am typing like this because the young boy was the one at the helm recording and you know this young generation can't capitalized anything... they called me on the first part of the show (which was probably the best part of the program) and we talked about my travels, health issues and his bedbug debacle... in ...

Hershall, we had it today... I knew (or had a strong feeling) that someone in the listening audience would get proverbially get fed up (phrase meaning exasperated) with the musical choices of the two youngest among us. They did and we were here to watch the show... (actually listen). Before that happened we talked about rostrums, phone pinky, Everett Triplet, and a whole lot of important stuff. We had a listener reque...
Hershall, What a trash heap this entire podcast is... I don't even know where to begin but I can tell you this, we began with whispers and it all went down hill from there as it usually does. We did hopefully redeem ourselves in the end with a beautiful song but it was a long time getting there. I tried to ease in to a new segment and got completely pummeled (big word for smashed in the face) by the boys accusing...
Hershall, we took a long stroll down memory lane and right as we were walking along Gen Z Boy, Brooks, came running long side us. We talked about all of the previous guests that we have talked to over these five plus years that we've been recording this trash heap of a podcast. Brooks had much to share when he joined. He told us about how he passed the great test of temptation on the job today and instead of a Pu...
Hersh, I don't want you to get too excited but we have a more traditional show today... That is due to the lack of Gen Z Boy. He wasn't able to make it because of life responsibilities but we carried on and have no plans of dropping him permanently from Pod'N Me. We got back to the basics today! Deacon Dustin went completely will;d with the quotes (from every source around- yes even the Bible). and we h...
Hersh, it has been a while since we heard from our guest today and let's just go ahead and say, he took a big "W" in the end, but before that happened we had a great discussion with the boys about several wonderful topics including: my stellar parenting skills and speaking before thinking. Our very own Deacon Dustin contributed the song for this week and we couldn't figure out whether we liked the ...
Hersh, we have had a plethora (big word for abuncha) disasters when it comes to the ministry of low expectations but today may have taken the cake (an old proverb that describes what we're saying here today). We recorded 30 mins of the most flawless audio/video we may have ever recorded and wasn't recording at all... It was the same as if we were 4 friends (loose term) talking on the speaker phone to an old ...
Hershall, all I can say is buckle up for this one... We went longer than normal but there was no good stopping place. The competition was palpable (big word for felt) in studio 18. Speaking of felt, that's exactly what was brought up during a long rant about being insured by our Deacon Dustin... yeah, roofing felt! I think that is the first time tha was been discussed on the trash-cast. We enjoyed a new segment o...
Hersh, it was mighty good to hear your voice on the program today. We always enjoy hearing from you but today you came on the show for a specific purpose. We wanted give a wonderful invitation to you and all of the listeners to come to the youth camp that we all take part in...
You can see for yourself here: https://www.centralokyc.org/ what we're talking about.
This year we decided to add some special Pod'...
Hershall, I hope the title doesn't throw you off but we did it... I will let you listen to the program to find out exactly what IT is. I think you will be amazed at what and where we have been. All thanks to our great patrons on Patreon we were able to pull off the surprise of the century. It is a historic day here on Pod'N Me. We are just a few days past our 5th anniversary and we heard a familiar voice tod...
Hershall, here we are again for the final day of our campmeeting series for 2025. I have greatly enjoyed having these pastors, Bro. Jon Brock, Bro. Davin Burnett and Bro. Jon Isaacs in studio to talk about how Christ should be reflected in all of our lives and that even goes for every relationship that we enjoy. We continued our discussion in Ephesians on the view that Paul gave us of how we treat one another now that...
Hershall, we're back again... Pastors Isaacs, Brock, and Burnett. We discussed Ephesians 4 on the five-fold ministry of the church and the goal of the ministry is to bring us to the body of Christ to a place of Unity, Diversity and Holy living. We had a great, challenging discussion. We have one more day of our camp meeting and that is tomorrow. Once again, you can view this episode for free on our YouTube page. ...
Hershall, it's that time of year again. It is Campmeeting week and we have some repeat guests. Three pastor friends who were here last fall for the pastoral episodes and we've combined that idea with our campmeeting week. Rev. Jon Isaacs, Rev. Jon Brock & Rev. Davin Burnett came here to discuss the need for personal disciplines in the ministry. It really is a conversation that every believer can benefit ...
Hershall, you read it correctly, we are really having an episode of Pod'N Me dedicated to wedding planning... We talked some things weddings today button all. We have to talk about some other stuff in the process but the weeding conversation was for good reason. One of our own, ole Gen Z Boy got a fiancé (big word for espousal), so we felt it necessary to discuss weddings. We even got a video of the episode that ...
Hershall, I know that the title seems to not go together at all, but what does go together in this world? Even here on the trash-cast it seems like we can seamlessly make thing flow together... or not. The boys (Songleader Brad, Deacon Dustin, and Gen Z Boy Brooks) suggested that we do another lucrative scheme (two big words in a row) to get more money from the podcast. A carnival was brought up and I will let you fin...
Hersh, it is a privilege for us to be back with you, as always. We had a reluctance on the show today concerning the topic of antique cars. Then we went down memory lane with our song selection which is where the smoke comes in. We also had a wonderful story about Brooks collecting money from our beloved Deacon. All in all it was a wonderful time here on the trash-cast. Take a listen and if you want to see the video o...
