This week, I will review the weeks that Oxford, Lafayette, and Regents had in sports and preview what is to come next week for the three athletic programs in sports for the week of September 7-12. This includes a preview of the Crosstown Classic on September and the Volleyball matches for the area teams, which begins to count more as the area teams start to play division opponents.
Along with Regents Cross Country head coach and Athletics Director Brandon Beckett, we preview the Regents Cross Country team already one meet into its season as the defending Class 1A MAIS State Champions. We also take a look at the overall view of the Regents Athletics Program and their outlook into the other sports offered.

I also rant on the lack of mask use at certain sporting events that I witnessed last week.
SPORTS ARE BACK! This week, I will go over the upcoming sporting events for the week of August 24 through August 28. I will also go over the Executive Order Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves put out on August 14 which is set to run through 8 a.m. Monday, August 31 and some of the guidelines Lafayette Athletics have laid out.
Along with Lafayette Volleyball head coach Kelsie Poole, we preview the upcoming Lafayette Volleyball season. Their season begins August 24th with three straight home games, starting with South Panola.
Along with Oxford Volleyball Head Coach Ashley Martin, we preview the upcoming Oxford Volleyball Season. Their season will begin August 25th against Horn Lake, a region opponent. Also in this episode is an update as to when the Oxford School District will begin school after the School Board voted last night to delay the start of school.
