Sportish is hosted by three time Olympian Libby Trickett and kids coach Georgie Trickett. Each week you'll be greeted with playful, inclusive conversations about sport through an unapologetically human lens, as well as interviews with our Sportish friends - from grassroots legends to elite athletes. Come join us!
A crying baby at a tennis match became the subject of much discussion last week so with baby Archie joining us in the studio we decided to join in. Speaking of Archie's.....we unpack the display of emotion by Aussie abroad Archie Wilson during a Nebraska football press conference. PLUS, big footwear (parents, we need to unionise) and Georgie gets all emotional about her 10 year old netball team. Join us!

When we got a message from one of the Sporties saying they needed more netty content, we decided to call in one of the legends of the game, Vicki Wilson. You can also expect a wrap up of the Le Tour De France Femmes and what it's like to be a viewer of the...

Emmy O'Neill always knew that she might need a new kidney, she just didn't know when that would happen, and that along the way she reconnected with sport and a whole new community.
You can find out more about Transplant Australia and their incredible sports programs here. And for me about disability sport options, check out the Australian Sporting Alliance for people with a Disability.
This week we chat with the incredible Katie Kelly - 2 time Paralympian, Australian representative in Blind Cricket, and Founder of the Sport Access Foundation. We chat about the challenge (and opportunity) of playing sport in a country town, aquiring your disability, hiking to Everest Base Camp and how organisaitons like the Australian Sporting Alliance for People With A Disability can help kids and families connect with sport...
Royal Life Saving Australia recently released a report that had some pretty disturbing statistics, including the fact that most primary school kids can't swim 50m by the end of primary school. With drowning rates increasing 10 fold by the time kids are 20, it's never been more important to ask whether we're ok with the swimming skills of our kids?
This week to talk to the CEO Royal Life Saving Australia, Justin Scarr, about why it'...
With the tragic passing of Adam Selwood, we talk about the men's mental health and the pivotal role sport plays. We're very challenged by the idea that you can only talk about a sport if you've played it and can't compute what this means for F1, and we've got a listener question about the CRISIS (too dramatic?) that is lollies in kids sport. Come join us!

Gary Hall Jnr came back on to our screens this week and it was emotional. We do a much needed community sport check in - colour runs, booing and our kids making their own sporting decisions (Amazing! Also, WHAT WILL YOU NOW PLAY?). Finally, the Mid Week Hall of Fame is back with a story that is honestly ready made for the movies. Tune in!

She has missed talking sport and Archie seems pretty good (for now?) so welcome to our latest guest host, your OG host, LIBBY TRICKETT! And because we haven't been able to talk for yonks, we're straight into F1, the ridiculously inconsistent doping bans from WADA and the dumbest tackling comp we've ever heard of. Tune in!

We have received SO MANY messages from the neurodiverse community about the intersection of sport and neuodiversity and so for this week's episode we wanted to talk to some experts. Emily and Kylee from the Neuolicisious podcast work day in, day out with neuodiverse kids and families and give us some excellent things to think about when it comes making our sporting environments more inclusive.
As well as some excellent guest hosts, while Lib's away on maternity leave we also wanted to bring you some chats with people who are doing incredible things that intersect with the world of sport. First cab off the rank is the team from the Kicks for Kids Foundation, a not for profit organisation that's making a difference by making sure some of the most underprivilidged kids are getting access to sporting equipment.
Thrilled to bits to have Ellie Cole as our Guest Sportish host for this week! We chat Brisbane Paralympics, why time slows down when you're exercising and Ellie's new kids book, Felix and his Fantastic Friends (it's truly excellent).
You can find Ellie's book at Kmart, Target, Big W and most major book retailers. And you can follow her on Instagram at @elliecoleswim

Libby's away this week so we're bringing you a Smallish Sportish chat with the co-captain of the Women's Queensland Reds, Jemma Bemrose. Don't know much about rugby? Doesn't matter. What you might be interested to learn is about the amazing focus on the women's game by clubs like the Reds and the impact of the sport's biggest name, female player Ilonah Maher, on the funding and the fans of the game. Tune in!
