Congo, una storia sbagliata
Raccontare la storia del Congo è un modo per gettare luce su una parte di storia mondiale, quella africana, che pochi conoscono. Ma è anche un modo per aprire uno spiraglio su una vicenda, per alcuni aspetti, di ancor più ampio respiro legata al significato e all'evoluzione dell'appartenenza a una dimensione umana – quella dei ‘neri' – che presenta infinite sfumature. Eppure, la riscoperta dell'identità ‘nera' trova sorprendenti momenti di intersezione a distanze oceaniche: il movimento per la difesa dei diritti black in America si intreccia con i tentativi di recupero delle radici nere della storia africana.
