How your how are you doing? I'm doing well and
like always, yeah, I mean you know we we we
talk often, but I gotta book you to see your

let's talk about the big news. You're out of retirement
to play in the Mexican League of Baseball. How How
did you uh come to this decision? Adrian? Yeah, I
mean it was it was gonna happen last year and
the pandemic put everything on hold for a year. As
we all know, Um, the Olympics are happening this year,

so I'm hoping to go play. Get ready, show that
I can still do it, swing the bad, hit the
ball and hopefully you know, represent Mexico and the Olympics. Uh.
You know, that's that's the ultimate plan. That's the goal,
and that's what we're going for. I know you're always
in shape and fitness is a top priority. But how
did you feel out in the field. Is everything coming
back pretty quickly? It feels great. Everything feels great. My

shoulder feels great, my bag feels great. Um. You know,
they say time heals wounds. I think taking a little
bit of time that I did and yeah, you know,
and so I feel great physically. Um. You know, obviously
being able to do the workouts here with lit Um
helped a lot. So these workouts with lit and after

the workouts, I was talking to Justin and we're like, hey,
let's do something fun, let's put something together, And that's
why we have this giveaway, which is amazing right now
with everything going on, we are doing this to help
World Central Kitchen. It's a little giveaway. You can go
on either lit social media or my personal social media
or my app uh to see the details. But yeah,

it's uh, it's an incredible little thing that that Justin
was able to do and put together the giveaway of
a lit machine workout machine. So it's awesome this partnership

appreciate to Adrian you're not like me, afraid to vocalize
your spiritual muscle, and you put yourself out there as
a Christian and sometimes I could be met with controversy.
Why was it important for you to be vocal about it?
It's always important. I mean, even though right now I'm
wearing the hat right this is the hat that that
we have on the app that that I created. This line.

It's called I am what I am? Uh, you know,
I am in lower case being me, being small little.
I am Jesus who when he was confronted as to
you know, are you the Messiah? His response was I am,
and that was that's why he was crucified. And so
you know, I am with Jesus. I am in smaller

case with upper case I am, which is Jesus. I
dig it, I dig it. I'm waiting and get hooked up.
Oh yeah, I'll get you one. I'll get you on
no word. You know. It's it's all about giving back.
It's all about, you know, being a servant, and this
is one of the great ways that we can do it. Uh,
you know, giveaway. People just have to donate one dollar,

I'm gonna talk a little baseball right now. Dodgers, of
course coming off a championship and and uh I think
are still the favorite. But the Padre has been making
some major moves. What do you think about that contract
that side recently? I mean, yeah, I feel like last

year we're talking about bets contract, this year talking about
the tease my child of the year before that three
years ago. So you know, the big guys are getting
their contracts, which is good. You know, it's uh, it's
moving the needle. It's that they're they're doing a lot
of years which they were holding off on, meaning the
owners for a while. Um, for a while, they were
keeping it to like five year contracts, right, so the
numbers didn't look as big. Now it's like fourteen years,
(04:15):
so it looks huge and the A V has gotten up.
But good for the good for them, I mean you
know that, you know, that's that's what they deserve. I mean,
they go out there and they put it all on
the line. They work hard. If they train all year,
they play all year. It's the longest season in sports.
And uh, you know, um, good for them. I'm happy
to see it, see it, see it happen. You have

a son out there, hand him a bat, that hand
them a bat. Haven't start swinging right there. But you
have girls, beautiful little girls. How they doing. They're doing great,
They're doing great. They're you know, the brand is big
into acting and and which you turned them onto. They
always see you on TV and they're like, oh, there's Mario,
you know, like Mario and then they see gr Nico.

They're like calling, I'm calling one of hand uh um
and uh. And then tennis and golf. They're being into
tennis and oh nice, nice, very cool. Man, Well, we

TV right now? Um? I mean I'm still gonna recommend

it's just it's from Spain. Very popular. If you can
watch in Spanish better, if not in English, it's good too,

head lately? A song that's been stuck in my head lately? Um,

I am gonna go with, um, what's that? That? Justin
Bieber and uh, Holy holy Yeah, the girls have been
singing it a lot. The girls have been singing it
a lot. Great song. All time favorite athlete, all time
favorite athlete. Um, that's a good question. Athlete, not just

like specific sports. Um, I'm gonna go with, oh, somebody
that had to do it in two sports, because it's
hard to do in two sports. I mean I'm just
gonna call it like Dion Sanders or Bo Jackson. Those
are good. What about baseball player, all time favor baseball

speaking of athletes, you recently got to spar with Canelo.
It's a trip being in there, huh it is. You're like,
this guy is about to knock me out, and then
he took it. He did and he bunch and I
was like, that's the thing. People as like, oh, you're
spar to Connell. I was like, no, I moved around

in the ring with Connell that he would have to
actually like try to hit me. No, hey, it still counts.
I'll go with that. I'll go with this one. I
get it there. I'm gonna go with sparred. Go to cocktail,
Go to cocktail, just tequila. I mean, you know, a
little little Casa Mexico Quia on the rocks, and then

when you get two hammered, start going some Caddy Dad beer.
Nicholas likes that beer. I love that. What I really likes.
I gotta tell you all my friends really like that beer.
