You were just revealed Lewenn as the hibiscus on the
Mass singer. First of all, I love me hibiscus, that
is how how did you go about choosing that? And
what made you want to do the show?
Speaker 4 (00:38):
Well, I mean so of course I wanted to do
the show because I love the show and I love
my performance. So I thought it was a great opportunity
for me to show a different audience.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
You know, what A made up and how he came
out with a biscus.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
As we were talking about certain flowers and I said
to them, my mom said to me, you know, at puberty,
she said, you're this beautiful flower and then one day
you're gonna blossom.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
And that was my sex sex education.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
So and then we started talking about colors, and I
was like, you know, red for Cabaret and you know,
and then Habiscus was born, and I just thought they
did such a great job with that, with that costume.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
I just loved it.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
I thought it was so beautiful, so creative, really, I
mean just perfect. I loved the costume and so that
that helped me perform as well. You know, when you
feel good in something really helps with your performance. I mean,
the mask was a little difficult to navigate, I will
I will say that, you know, it's when I first
put on, I.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Was like, oh my god, this is close to public.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
I don't know, like you could do this, I mean,
and then you know, with rehearsals and getting used to
wearing it got a little easier.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
But you can't you know, see out of the peripheral.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Vision is like nowhere and you can't really even see down.
So even holding the microphone was like is that my mouth?

How was it?

It was so hard because I was so excited to
be on the mask and to not be able to
tell anybody was really difficult, you know, you know, being
being on the house where I show, you know, it's
very hard to keep a secret.

What uh, what's it about? And does that title have
any significance?

Well, I mean really that that was born.

That was inspired by my fans, you know, from coming
to my cabaret shows. You know, I do a Q
and A with the audience, and every single Q and
A I get asked, I get asked Mary f Kill,
and I get the choices. You know, it's a game
that the girls love to play. And so my inspiration
was was from really from the fans.

I've already written a song.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Bruce Roberts is my producer, who's an amazing icon of himself.
And so yeah, so I'm kicking off at the will
turn uh for Valentine's Dan, and it's all about who.

We would marry, who we would happen, who would you know,
rather live without? You know, So that's really how it
was born.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
That's funny. Who are the who are three of the
names that you usually get well.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I mean, you want to hear a funny story.

So I'm at fifty four below doing a show and
one of my fans goes, okay, Mary, I have killed
David Letterman, Brad Pitt or Andrew dice Clay. And I
was like, okay, well, I'm gonna marry David Letterman because
he's funny and he's rich. I've never been a big
fan of Brad Pitts, I'm gonna have to kill him.

So I guess I'm gonna have to ask Andrew dice Clay.
And she goes good because he's sitting right behind me.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
I love that's great. Oh my god. He stands up,
wait and he has.

A cigarette cont so I gotta saying, your reckon throws
are amazing. And he starts profess and he was brought
there by his fiance. Of course, he gets dragged into
count discap Ray has no idea what's happening.

And and I landed on it. That's correct. So here
was thrilled anyway.

So that's really where the inspiration comes from. And you know,
I just love it because who doesn't want to talk
about all that good stuff? It's our favorite game.

dragged to your show, they left being a fan because
your show is super, super fun.

Ultimate Girlstrip, New York Legacy. What can you tell us
about that?

Well, you know, it's the ogs are coming back.

We're going back to Saint Bert's.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
It's kind of like Scary Island per two meets a
Pirate or two because you know we have that famous
pirate story with you.

Yeah, we have a lot of fun.

There's always drama, you know when comes to having all
those women together. But I feel like it's like it's
a fun ride. It's not you know, I feel like
some of the franchise and get a little dark, and
I feel like this is.

Really light and fun and sexy.

And you know, you'll get to see, you know, Kelly
talk about her experience from the last time of Scare Island,
and you know, we'll hear from Christen Takman, who we
haven't seen in ten years. You know, we break a
lot of fourth walls and talk about all that good stuff.
So it's it's a lot to unpack and it's really fun.
And I think people are gonna love it.

feel like they're interesting women that that people need to
give them a chance. When we were new, you know,
it took a while to get our following, and so
I feel like, you know, it's always the first seasons,
like everything is hunky dory, and then it's like, all right, girls,

what's really happening in you're life?

So I feel like second season will really tell us
