actually on set compared to when you're on your living room. Right,
it's so well.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
First of all, Celebrity Jeopardy, Jeopardy period is hard in
my living room, and it's even harder when you're that
That's not a show I would ever go on, is Jeopardy. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I'm more of a Wheel of Fortune guy.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Me too.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
No, not even will of fortune. I'm not good at
will of fortune. I'm one hundred thousand dollars peer.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Oh yeah, oh that's my that's my jam right there.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yes, that's my damn sick.

that's funny. Your show, Sherry out the gate, was just
doing great. Congratulations, you're great. On It's What's what's been
your favorite part?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
You know, I'm meeting so many people that I've been
fans of.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Taylor Dane came on and I just like we started
singing tell It to my Heart.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, she's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
She's so cool.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
But I remembered every single word from thirty five years ago. Okay,
So it was so exciting seeing her in different you know,
having uh paying on Monstra Comics and having a laugh lounge.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
With Ida Rodriguez yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
And it's just like people I admire, I get to
talk to, so it makes me happy, it makes people
feel good.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Who were a couple of dream guests that you'd love
to have on the show?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Well, I had Slashed Alone on Oh God, he was great,
and I had John Lithgow, two actors that I love.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
So I would love to.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Have Michelle Obama and if she wants to bring the
guy that she's married to, that would be awesome as well, right,
and like a Meryl Street and Oprah Winfrey Okay, those people, Yeah,
that would just like And then if I could get Beyonce.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Some up and comers, yeah, oh yeah, the up.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
And comers, because you know you don't.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You've also been doing some stand up with the Too
Funny Mama's Comedy Tour. What are you talking about on
stage right now?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
You know just about life, Mario. You know how it is.
You used to be out there in the streets.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Now you got a child who is asking a lot
of questions.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I don't know if your kids are like mine.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
They always asking questions, and I'm like, don't even call
my name anymore. Right, I wanted you so badly. Now
I feel like, can I just take a nap? So
I that's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Naps are gold. And yeah, especially, don't be asking me
questions regarding homework, because I really don't know what I'm
talking about, Maria.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
When they ask you like to check the homework, this
is what I do. I do, what my parents do.
What do you think it is? What do you think
the right answer?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Exact? Google's my best friend when they're asking me stuff.
Right there?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I read that you once put spy cameras in your
teenage son's bedroom.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Oh gosh, that's your a bad one.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I did I put it, you know, because he and
his girlfriend over and I was like, I just need
to know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I mean, I knew what was going on, but I.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Needed to know.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
But my son is like, he don't even pick up
his underwear off the floor, so he didn't even see the.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Blinking light on the camera. Thank goodness.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
That's funny I do on my son too. That's the
biggest thing. Just close everywhere. It's making me mad. So
you were the ones spilling the tea on these Barbara
Walters and Richard Pryor hookup rumors, which I love. By
the way, when was I supposed to have happened?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
It was when Paul Mooney was doing stand up and
now he's the late great Palm Mooney.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I love Paul Mooney. He was great, so absolutely amazing.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, and it was outside of Caroline's Comedy Hour. And the
real point was is when he told me, it was
like such big news.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Like I didn't go blast it out like I.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Did recently, but I went and told Joy Bayhart, one
of my closest friends, and it was like it was
supposed to stay between Joy and I and she's the
one that blasted it out to Barbara. They goodness, she
didn't tell Barbara. I panicked because I was like, I
just got this job. Now I'm going to be fired,
and I said, I'm gonna tell you nothing, no more right.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
I love that hook though, Richard Pryor as well for that.
You're keeping up with all this Will and Jada news
is uh? I mean the memes are hysterical. Is my
girl doing? Is saying too much? Today? Though? I saw
is she saying too much?

Speaker 4 (04:23):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Well, because I don't know she know she's telling her truth.
Because today I saw Will talking about I'm always gonna
have her back. I'm here write or die, And I'm
thinking to myself, He's like, what was that movie when
you're the Matrix? No, not just the Matrix? No, what
get out? Get out? He's like a get out and
he can't get out or something? Am I tripping? Or

(04:45):
is that? You know what I mean? The whole thing
just bizarre.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
So are you looking at at Will's eyes as he's talking,
going just blink twice?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
That's what I'm saying, He's gotta be because that's I
don't know, man, I don't know. That's a lot. He's
like crying, no tears, no, no blinking.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
The nope blink and forget how they are.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
It's like I feel like I am I am in
this rabbit hole because they've been They've had seven years
to work this out.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
You gave this to us.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Everything at four days, right, I'm trying to figure out
because this was the royal couple.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
This was the couple that you didn't know anything about. Jaden.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Will remember when they were so private and they would
let that little tibbits.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Now they're opening.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Up the floodgates and I'm like, my peasant mind can't
handle it.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
It's I can't make hands and tails.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I know they love each other, but they're friends, but
they're trying to make your work and they're in a
healthy blaze. And at the end of the day, I'm like,
I just just grown folks stuff because I'm not getting it.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, I'm not either, but they're together. I'm like, take
me out of the group chat because I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Part of me thinks that with every revelation she's trying
to trigger a divorce, but he just won't do It's.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Like, at one point, I'm gonna say, I thought you
was going to come out with like these ain't even
Will's kids, Like.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Oh my god, you know.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
What I'm saying. I probably it's probably two months away
the wild.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
It's every day there's something, there's something new and fresh
coming up, and I.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Haven't processed the stuff the day before. No, I'm trying to.
I'm trying to make sense of it.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
And I know I probably can't handle a relationship like
that one.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Tupac can't even defend himself out here. You know, I
was saying, I have a I have a question. It
was funny because I had my boy Gabriel Less has
fluffy here.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh he's there now?

Speaker 1 (06:27):
No, No, he was here, friend of mine. It's a
while back. And I saw him put some like eleven
or twelve Splendors in his iced coffee and that go damn, bro,
and go, oh this is nothing. My girl Sherry Shepherd
put something like eighteen or twenty. I go, no way,
And so I have to ask her. I wanted to
ask you, is that true? How many splenders do you

(06:48):
want your com I.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Would do, but I stopped doing Splendor. I haven't done split.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Okay, when you did Splendor, what was it?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I did twenty six package?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
No way, no way. He wasn't lying in one. Help
he wasn't. He's actually under I thought he said like
twenty Wait hold on like twelve hold on saying yeah,
what in event, even if it was a Trenta.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I would always get one of those extra large iced
teas from like McDonald's or something unsweetened. Yeah, And I
was with twenty six minimum, twenty two max twenty six.
That's the only way it tastes the sweet to me.
And so I found out what I've weaned myself off
splint and I can't even go near because I'm like
a crackhead.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, that takes by the way they'll take you, like fifteen.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Minutes twenty one time I can do and like eight
packats at a time.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Before it is in word. Like I grew up in
the South.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
My mom used to make sweet tea and it was
the sweetest tea that you would ever have in your life.
Basically like diabetes in a cup. And I think that
was probably sweeter than my mom that you share you
out here making maple syrup.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
But it's so good.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
And I remember Gabory was like he was like you
guys were when he saw me putting so much in
when we did our show together for Glaciers. But I
just I've always you that mini splendid. That's why I
had to get myself.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Off of it.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah. Yeah, that's that's my favorite fun fact. Yeah, that's
my favorite fun fact. Crazy thing is then Fluffy kind
of followed your lead. Yeah, he was up to like thirteen,
I think exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I think I took gave to the dark side.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
You look great, like I mentioned, and I know you've
been put some work in on in health and fitness.
What you're doing to uh to stay active these days?

Speaker 2 (08:28):

same for the last twenty years, so damn you can't tell.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
You know, we brown people, we just don't crack.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
That's the way we are. We could be.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
We could be ninety two years old. It looked like
we're thirty. I love it.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah with you, that is awesome. Good for you. It's
the best when you get it done in the morning
and everything.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
