Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario a little bit. What's up? You're
on Mario Lopez? You wint me on zoom my buddy,
Tori spelling? How are you, Tori? Welcome back to the show.
I'm okay. How are you? Always good to see you?
Always good to see you? Do you look great? Um?
First off, you you just did the mass singer in Australia.
You were a pool great choice. What what song don't

(00:23):
you saying? Uh? Somewhere only we know? And material girl, Hey,
That's what I'm talking about right there? Did you fool
the judges totally? Melby thought I was baby spice Emma
Wow compliment. She said she could swear that it was her.
I was like, I'll take that all day, all day.

(00:44):
What about the kids? Are they Are they back at
school now? Yes? They went back yesterday. That's a nice feeling.
Huh yes? And no really? How so? So I feel
like the whole new stress like comes the whole well,
you know, well, especially after the last two years, just
like them being back on campus. I feel like it's

(01:05):
like retraining them to be socialized, like you know, they
were all they're used to it summer, go back to school,
but after everything being so inconsistent off campus, on campus
last two years, and at home, they you know, have
always anxiety that I feel like it's a newer at
it anxiety level than they have before. There's always something
I agree with you on that are your kids back

(01:27):
at school? They are back in school. I am very
happy about it, although I just I have my little
guy who just turned three. He's not at school, and
we were going to try preschool, but um, I fear
for the other kids, so I would hold off. He's uh,
he's he's a wild one, that one right there. Um.
I know you've mentioned before that you suffer from migraines. Um,
how do you manage that during uh, during all this time,

(01:49):
been going to another country, kids going back to school. Oh,
I actually it's been hard. I mean I I've been
getting migraines since my twenties and the journey. I got
my first one on the set of Beverly Hills nineos. No,
like literally will never forget filming in the beach, but
like got one, and it would totally changed my life
because when you get intense migraines, they're completely debilitating. And um,

(02:13):
it's been definitely a journey of trial. And error, and
in the past, like I couldn't find anything that worked
for them, so when I would get one, it was
always that fear like I would have to miss work,
I would miss I missed performances, I missed kid's birthday
parties for and that as a mom like, oh my gosh,
you want to be present. So about two years ago

(02:35):
I found NERD chech O d T and for me
that medication works and I take it dissolvable tablet and
within an hour, I'm like back to my game. So
it's like it's been really helpful. Oh that's great, because
you're right, it is paralyzing. Really you can't really do anything. Um,
you mentioned nine O two on no and you've got
the podcast nine O two one O n G. So Cliver,

(02:58):
I remember talking about it with you with and Garth.
How's that been going great? I mean it's so much fun.
You know what it's like to like go back and
work with your buddies. It's just like you don't skip
a beat. I mean, Jen and I are best friends
in real life too, since we were in our teens,
So being able to work together every week, that's like
a blessing and honestly, we wont is. So I was

(03:19):
just on a flight with our friend Elizabeth Berkeley and
we were talking about what it was like to like
going back to do the show, like going back to
you stay by the bell, going back to do b
H and I know someone now, um and how that
regression like you don't mean to but it comes out
like you all of a sudden. You know. When we

(03:41):
did b H and at Toronto, I was like that
six year old girl again all over again. I'm like,
what's happening? So watching i mean rewatching the show every
week with Jenny, it's like, oh my gosh, I'm back
in that moment when I was a team it is.
It could be a lot of fun therapeutic, I'm sure sometimes. UM.
On a Saturday note, Actress Denise Dallas, I know, recently

(04:03):
passed away and she played the principal on on nine
O two and O. What what do you remember about
her time on set with you? Oh my gosh, Denise
was just I remember her smile, I remember her hugs,
and Mrs Teasley was like such. She was like the
vice principle that everyone wanted. Um. She just brought a

(04:23):
coolness to that character. That I'm sure wasn't initially planned.
I don't think it was ever planned for her. She
was in the entire run for ten years, off and on, um,
even though we graduated high school in the third season.
So um, she was that person that we just loved
working with and she's gone on to do such amazing things.
So it was really sad to hear about that. You

(04:44):
were also part of the MTV show Messiness. Did you
have a good time there? You may be doing it
again or yes, um, our second season. We filmed our
second season. Our second season is starting to air. His
premiering on September so nice can rats, thank you? Good
for you. Howld your oldest now? Tori fifteen? Oh wow?

(05:06):
What is that? A sophomore? Wow? Age? I was when
I started Night Out two and oh when I did
the pilot, Like that's what's so crazy wild when you
think about it, it doesn't Yeah, it's surreal. It is. Well.
I always love to see you and it's nice to
uh catch up and you can listen to nine O

(05:27):
two one O MG on I Heart Radio or wherever
you get podcasts. Tory, thanks for checking in. Please give
you Jenny my best I love you. Okay, Tony take care. Bye,
on with Mario Lupe
