McCaskill, Manchin and Dems Running Scared

Nov 2, 2018

RUSH: “Nearly six in 10 Republicans say that things have changed so much they feel alienated; 42% of Democrats agree.” That’s a high number of Democrats. You know, there’s a story. I don’t know where it comes from. It was about the football game last night. Apparently… Who played? Did the Fort’inters play last night? It was Thursday Night Football. (interruption) Brian, who’d the Fort’inters play last night?

Do you remember who it was? (interruption) Who won? Who won the game? (interruption) Are you kidding? The Fort’inters wiped the Raiders off the map? (interruption) It was 34-3! I wonder if Jon Gruden is regretting going back to the NFL. Probably not since the Raiders are gonna be in Vegas next year. Anyway, that’s not the story of the game. How many…? By the way, a little aside: How long ago would you have had to go before I didn’t know who had played on a Thursday night game and who had won, and yet I just now remembered there was a game last night?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Nearly six in ten Republicans say that things have changed
so much they feel alienated. Democrats agree. That's a high
number of Democrats. You know, there's a a story. I
don't know where it comes from. It was about the
football game last night. Apparently who the Who the Forts playlist?

(00:22):
And there was a Thursday night football Brian who Fords playlist? Night?
You remember who it was? Who won? Who won the game?
Are you kidding? The Foreigners wiped the Raiders off the
map thirty thirty four to three. I wonder if John
gruden is is regretting going back to the NFL. Probably not,

(00:44):
since the Raiders are going to be in Vegas next year. Anyway,
that's not the story of the game. How many by
the way, little aside, how long ago would you have
had to go before? I didn't know who had played
on a Thursday night game and who had won? And
yet I just now remember there was a game list anyway,
and I like Thursday night football or I did. Apparently

(01:06):
a cheerleader are you ready for this? A cheerleader for
the Fornitors took a knee during the anthem. Not a player,
A cheerleader, A female cheerleader took a knee, and the
news of this is a Facebook post where somebody in
Facebook said, it's wonderful. Isn't it great that we can
look at people and and see people who are different

(01:28):
and accept them and love them, and it dies it
ties oftent of Americans feel like strangers in their own country.
There's a substantive reason for that. And it's not because
these are a bunch of old, funny, dutty old people
who want people to get off their front yard or

(01:48):
this kind of thing. There is an express effort to
overrun the distinct American culture that's rooted in Western civilization,
and it really is based on the blanket acceptance of quote,
people who are different, people who look different. And if

(02:12):
you do that, you are a great person. You are wonderful.
If you can accept someone who looks different, it doesn't
matter what they do, it doesn't matter anything else, if
they look different and you can accept and hug them
and love them. The nets how we have a great
society and great culture. And I have no doubt that
among significant population of millennials that's probably true. And that's

(02:40):
kind of really shallow to me, but it's right along
the lines of identity politics, so of Americans feel like
a stranger in their own country. Six in nine swing
district voters say keep this migrant caravan out of the

(03:01):
country swing districts. Trump approval numbers in five swing states
or over. And yet all the smart money is on
the Democrats taking the House. Let's see shady dark money

(03:23):
groups mailers are attacking Josh Howley from the right, benefiting
Claire mccaskell. They don't idea who they are. It's a
violation of law. They outright like what it is. For
the past week, Missouri voters have been receiving political mailers
attacking Republican Senate candidate Josh Holly from the right on

(03:43):
issues like gun rights and his push to oust Republican
Governor Eric Grighten's. Some of the mailers asked voters to
support the independent candidate on the ballot, Craig o' dear. So, look,
it's politics, it's money. If there are people trying to
attack Republicans from the right, find it fascinating that attacks

(04:06):
from the left artwork. You know why they can't attack
Josh Holly from the left of it because Claire McCaskill's
trying to horn in McCaskill is trying to say that
she is fully behind Trump on this immigration business. Joe Mansion,
West Virginia says birthright citizenship is worth looking at. Does

(04:29):
Joe Mansion really believe this? Does Claire McCaskill believe what
she's saying right now? On the eve of the election.
Senator Joe Mansion said yesterday that the concept of granting
birthright citizenship, Yeah, that's worthy you're looking at. He was
adamant that Trump can't change it the executive order, but yeah,
we need to look at that. These people don't mean

(04:52):
any of this. Senator Claire McCaskill has recently shifted gears
on immigration, talking tough on border issues, although months ago
she co sponsored legislation to end all immigration enforcement. But
now she's out there trying to say, oh, yeah, you know,
I'm i'm I'm I'm with the president immigration stuff. And

(05:15):
by the way, I've voted with the President probably half
the time. I'm I'm not. I'm not as opposed to
the president as people think. Why would she be saying
this in the eve of the election. Well, because I
think she's acknowledging that immigration is an issue the Republicans
triumphant and win on. She's in trouble in her campaign

(05:40):
and what is this? Uh gen died. Jennifer Duffy, senior
editor of The Cook Political reports that she expects Senator
Claire McCastle to lose her Senate seat. I expect Democrats
to lose Missouri, so she thinks she thinks the castle

(06:03):
is going down the tubes. Dave Bratt calls out Democrat
Abigail span Burger for defending MS thirteen. This is Republican
congressman in Virginia, Dave Bratt calling out his Democrat opponent
Abigail span Burger for her defense of the violent El
Salvador and MS thirteen gang and his newest ad. Bratt

(06:26):
also calls her out for her silence on a seven
thousand and ten thousand migrant caravan headed to the US.
This is one of these Republican districts in a Democrat
state that The Cook Report and Dan Senor and Ed
Rollins all think our toast. Project Veritas and Beto o'rourgan

(06:50):
I mentioned this earlier in the program. Project Veritas Action
Fund has released undercover video from current congressman and US
Senate candidate Betto o Rourkes campaign. The video exposes how
the Rooric campaign staff appear to be illegally using Betto
money to buy supplies to help transport the Honduran aliens

(07:15):
on the caravan. This is the eighth undercover video report
that Project Veritas is released in a series revealing secrets
and lies from Democrat political campaigns this season. Some of
the things caught on hidden video, I just hope hope
nobody that's the wrong person finds out about this. Yeah,

(07:36):
it's effing happening. Roor campaign staff uses prepaid cards for
Honduran aliens applies. Another campaign staff orsists don't ever repeat
this in explaining how to hide campaign expenditures for Honduran aliens.
Another says, if you get caught in some sort of violation,

(07:57):
that's like a fifty dollar fine for me. I I
can just ignore the rules and I'm like screw it.
So anyway, Project Veritas with video after video of Betto
or Rourke staff members bragging and talking about how they
are helping to fund the caravan. Meanwhile, Democrats all of
the country upset that Betto is not sharing any of
his money with them. Clara mccaskell. Most of her money

(08:22):
coming from Hollywood. Bettle or Rourke the same, most of
it coming from Hollywood and his families. Okay, sound about
seventeen twenty. I just want you to hear this in
their own words. I just reported this to you. But
here we go. This is last night in Columbia. Donald,
by the way, this this rally last night, there was

(08:43):
a three mile line of audibobibles to get into this
rally in Columbia yesterday. Three miles. You know how I
know that because somebody drove through it and took a
video of it driving the opposite direction and that they
said it was three miles, and they just kept going
and going and going and going. And we get this

(09:04):
New York Times story how the Democrats don't want Bill
Clinton anywhere near them. And that's not about Hillary, but
they don't. They don't want Bill Clinton anywhere. I just
have folks, just have to tell you something. The drive
bys have stopped televising these rallies. See and then Fox
are not televised, but I guarantee you there they have

(09:25):
the video feed, uh, and they have their reporters there
and when they see this kind of this mass of
humanity lining up getting there a day in advance. Last night,
when Trump began to rally, he couldn't get them to
quiet down so he could begin. I mean, it was

(09:46):
just raucous. Now, admittedly, Trump carried the Missouri by big
margin in two thousand and sixteen, is very popular there,
but it's still amazing. And Democrats have nothing like this
out there. They have nobody that can do Joe Biden, who,
by the way, Joe Biden is not encouraging union people

(10:08):
to hit other people in the face amidst all these
calls from Democrats for civility. But they don't have anybody.
They don't have anybody on their presidential side. Obama can't
even draw these Obama's attended a rally today for I
guess this this Gillham character. Uh, the crowds that Obama

(10:33):
draws are they're just they're high school gymnasium max. And
there's nowhere near the enthusiasm and the excitement. And I
don't care what happens on Tuesday. I'm just telling you
that the media and the Democrats look at this stuff
and they see it just sees makes them see it
when they see you happy, they see you supportive and

(10:56):
they just it hits him in the face. How how unsuccessful.
Well they have been trying to get you to hate
and abandon Trump. So here's Trump last night when they
finally quieted down in Columbia. In just five days, the
people of Missouri are going to retire far left Democrat
Claire McCaskill. I's been saying such nice things about me,

(11:24):
but you know what, She'll never vote with me. That's
the problem. He's been saying nice things. I said. I
didn't know she was a Republican. She'll never vote. He'll
never vote, she never has and she didn't even vote
for Justice Kavanaugh. Think of that, didn't vote right, didn't

(11:46):
vote for Kavanaugh, but now totally supportive of Trump on immigration.
So last night on the Fox Newst Special Report with
bread Bear, he interviewed mccaskell and said, this carav and
UH getting a lot of attention Senators. With the border,
the president has to use every tool he has at
his disposal, and I'm back him up on that. I

(12:09):
do not want our borders overrun, and I support the
President's efforts to make sure they're not. Now, what do
you think, Chuck you Schumer is doing what he hears
her say this. I'll tell you what chuck your schuvars.
He says, you better not mean that. And when this
election is over, and if you come back here, you
better better better not be putting that into plan. This

(12:29):
is not what they believe. This is the exact opposite
of what they've you people in Missouri. I realize that
I'm a favorite son, and I realized as Missouri is
my home state, and I realize I'm a big guy there.
I realize that I even have a bust in the
Missouri House of Representatives. I realized many people were made

(12:51):
angry by that much of deranged leftists. But I have
to tell whatever you think of me, Claire McCaskill is
not for you anymore. She's for the Democrat Party and
the idea that out of nowhere Claire mccaskell somehow supports

(13:13):
the notion of stopping the caravan at the border. Find
some votes in her voting record that could lead you
to believe she means this because Trump was right. She'd
been saying nice things about him lately, but she'll never

(13:33):
vote with Trump. She's out there saying, you know, I
have I've voted with the president about half the time.
If she has, it's because she knows what the people
of her state want. But this idea that president has
to use every truly has at his disposal, and I'm
back him up on that. You think if she had

(13:58):
been talking this way the whole campaign that she would
have gotten all the campaign donations from Hollywood that she's received.
I don't think so. No, no, no, no, no. I'm
not commenting on whether she's a good person, bad person,
nice person, any of that. I'm just telling you that
this is a political posture for election day, and it's

(14:20):
it's classic. It's it's exactly how the left says what
they have to say in order to camouflage and mass themselves.
They cannot be honest about what they really believe. They
wouldn't get elected. I I wouldn't fall for this. Here's
Joe Mansion. Now we move on to West Virginia. It's
the same situation. This was last night in Morgantown, a

(14:44):
live debate televised across the state. During a segment on immigration,
here is Senator Mansion. I have voted every time to
support the border. As far as securing the voters, I
have voted every time, and we'll continue to vote every time.
I think the presidents every means possible to him. We
have to have walls at least seven and nine hundred miles.

(15:05):
We have to use all of the technology we have
to secure the ports. Man oh Man, where do we
hear this outside of election cycles? And let's go back
to July eleventh, last year, So this is a year
and a half ago. About fifteen months ago, the Young

(15:26):
Turks webcast Senator Joe Manchin is a guest and said,
I'm not for building a wall. I'm not for building
a wall at all. So July eleven, seventeen, I'm not
for building a wall. Play play nineteen again here, I'm
not for building a wall. I'm not for building the
wall at all. And yet yesterday I have voted every
time to support the border. As far as securing the borders,

(15:49):
I have voted every time, and we'll continue to vote
every time. I think the Presidents used every means possible
to him. We have to have walls at least seven
and nine hundred miles, We have to use all of
the technology we to secure the sports. Telling you folks, uh,
you just have to be you have to be dubious
here you're being pandered too up to you want to

(16:10):
accepting We're gonna marry in Illinois, Kevin. I'm glad then
you waited. Hello sir, Hello Rush, Greetings from the land
of Lincoln and the first state of Ronald Reagan. You know,
it's interesting when you mentioned Claire McCaskill yesterday about this
she supports Trump at the border wall. You know, it
just brought me back to the fact that here in Illinois,

(16:32):
and we get over the Missouri states but mostly Illinois,
the Democrats that are running at the state local level,
they're all running on Trump Aginja's pro life, pro Second Amendment,
pro jobs. And it's just it's amazing. Wait wait wait
wait wait wait wait Democrats, your Democrats running a state
at local level in Illinois are running on pro life,

(16:53):
pro Secondiment, pro jobs. Yes, sir, Democrats are running on
pro life in Illinois. Yes, yes. I've got a female
that's running for a state representative seat here in southern Illinois,
and she's got she's running numerous ads on radio and
TV that she specifically counts that she's pro life and

(17:14):
pro Second Amendment and pro jobs and she will fight
for the people of southern Illinois, not Chicago. What are
this woman's chances? Do you have any idea? I'd say
their fifty fifty right now, because you know, in southern
Illinois you have modern Democrats that are pro pro Second

(17:35):
Amendment and pro pro choice. You know, and wait a minute,
pro choice is not pro life, which is it. I'm sorry,
pro I'm sorry, pro life and pro Second Amendments. Because
there's hunters and you know, it's just a big hunting
community down here, hunting and fishing. But yeah, that's what
they're running on down here. That that that I have

(18:01):
to tell you. That's that that's surprise of Democrats, pro life.
And I know Mary, Illinois is not Chicago. Soun Illinois.
I know right where it is. That's hmm. Interesting. And
she's she's running neck and neck. You say, we'll keep
a sharp eye. I'm look, I'm glad you called
