Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well. As the coronavirus took all New York City Mayor
Bill de Blasio had one of his bright ideas. He
moved the homeless from shelters to some of the city's
finest hotels to protect them from the virus. Now, what
could possibly go wrong At Midtown Manhattan hotels. Drug addicts flourished.
They used heroin and broad daylight. Residents were subjected to

(00:20):
verbal abuse and threatening behavior. No cops were dispatched, and
nobody from city government responded to multiple complaint calls. The
homeless migrated into the fashionable Chelsea neighborhood and created their
own encampment. They blocked the entrances to local businesses, which
were already struggling. Because of the lockdown, I should say struggling,

(00:42):
residents became increasingly frightened to walk the streets. Once thriving
New York neighborhoods have had their economy shut down by Democrats,
then they had to take the homeless into their hotels
with no supervision, no law enforcement to speak of, and
no protection given to the residents or businesses of these
nigh burhoods. The problem has gotten so out of control

(01:03):
that the idiot Democrat mayor finally says it's time to
get the homeless out of the hotels and back to
the streets and the shelters, but de Blasio is providing
no timeline on when that will happen. Things are so
bad in New York it almost makes you feel sorry
for the people who elected these lived almost I said
almost
