Newsweek, a former magazine people used to read just ran
a big expose on ICE. Newsweek reveals that ICE used
commercial airlines to fly illegal immigrants back to their homes. Shocking,
isn't it utilizing all of their investigative powers as drive
by journalists. Newsweek was able to obtain data from ICE.

Turns out that United American and Delta were used to
transport illegal aliens back to Central America. United Airlines led
to pack six hundred seventy seven deportation flights, making up
almost half of these flights last year. American Airlines took
second place three hundred and forty five removal journeys, and
coming in third place was Delta with two hundred and

sixty six flights. Jess Morales Rocquetto, a former Hillary campaign staffer,
now heads Families Belong Together. It's an illegal immigration advocacy group.
She says that these air carriers ought to be ashamed
of themselves for profiting from trump cruelty against families. Of course,
like most liberals, Mr Ricketto has it wrong. These companies

ought to be proud they are helping the elected US
government enforce the law, and they're making a profit at
the same time. That's what capitalism is all about, doing
well by doing good at the win win. But really, Delta,
you're the biggest commercial air carrier. You're only in third
place with ice flights. You guys got to step it
up this year. We're keeping a sharp eye out on this.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay.
