Speaker 1 (00:00):
According to Politico, the politics of COVID nineteen has reached
a boiling point in California. It's not because Governor Newsome
flaunted his own virus restrictions by attending an upscale party
with his upscale lobbyist buddies at an upscale hotel. It's
not California lawmakers partying at a conference in Maui again

(00:21):
flouting the travel rules they impose, and everybody else. Now
it's something more local screwel. Early on in the pandemic,
Newsom and his Democrats cow towed to the powerful teachers
unions by shutting down the screwels, And all these months later,
screwels are still shut down. Instead of being in class,
most of the six million California scroul children are at home.

(00:45):
Those who attend private schools, like Newsome's kids, they're back
in the classroom. But other students, including most minority children,
they've got nowhere to go. Now, even a few Democrats
are breaking ranks and are calling this two tier system
stay sanctioned segregation. It's inequality on parade. This is not
what California stands for, they say. But see they're dead wrong.

(01:08):
This is exactly how liberal elites who run California have
governed for as long as they've been in power. Their kids,
their buddies, their special interest get the breaks. Everybody else
gets broke, especially the minorities they claim to represent and
care about. State sanctioned segregation. Yep, exactly business as usual.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
