Three months later, months four months later, well today, on
the show SWV and Escape will be joining us. They
have a tour called the Queens of R and B Tour,
and we're gonna be kicking it with them in a
little bit. And again, congratulations to the New York Knicks.
Well I said congratulations like they won the championship, but
they won last night. I know y'all was here. We
hype this out. We'll give you the details when we
come back with Front page news. It's the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Good morning morning everybody.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
It's DJ n V Jess Hilarious, Charlamage the God. We
are the Breakfast Club. Charlotte be here in a little
bit and let's get in some Front page news. Last night,
the Nicks one ninety one, they beat the Paces, they
leave the series three two, and the Nuggets beat the
timber Wolves one twelve ninety seven.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Now, Donald Trump, he was back in court yesterday.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
Of course he only has Wednesday off, and of course
the weekends, and they were still going back and forth
with Michael Cohen, his ex attorney.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Trump's former fixer was back on the stand and faced
a brutal cross examination from Trump attorney Todd Blanche. You
called President Trump a cheeto's dusted cartoon villain, Blanche asked Cohen.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yes, he replied, do you.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Want President Trump to get convicted in this case?

Speaker 11 (04:03):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (04:04):
As Trump's attorney went after Cohen, Trump appeared to fall asleep,
his eyes closed for quite a while, his chin resting
on his chest. And we're learning today that Stormy Daniels
wore a bulletproof vest when she testified last week.

Speaker 12 (04:20):
She was concerned about the security coming into New York
as she wore a bulletproof vest every day yestil she
got to the courthouse. I can tell you that before
she came on Sunday, I mean she cried herself to sleep.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Well, I do see why she would wear a bulletproof vests.
Some of those Trumps are crazy. We see what happened
January sixth, So I don't blame when she wants to
be she wants to get in and out.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
She wore a vesting and got in.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
As far as Michael Cohen, it's really strange because he
was so infatuated with Trump. He talked about reading Trump's
book numerous times and really wanted to work with Trump,
and then he got what he wanted and things didn't
work out, and now.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
He's like, well, she Trump go to jail.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Yeah, but you were just so infatuated when you wanted
to work with him so bad, you know what he
was about.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
And now that and Trump falling asleep, he's.

Speaker 8 (05:04):
A crazy Yeah, that sounds like AMERCAO what you want?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
You know, you're just dust. Doesn't matter now.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Also, they're putting out a warning for Pride Day and
Pride a Week, the FBI directors saying be very careful
they might look to exploit the lgbt q i A
plus related events.

Speaker 13 (05:28):
There was already a heightened risk of violence in the
United States before October seventh. Since then, we've seen a
rogues gallery of foreign terrorist organizations call for attacks against
Americans and our allies. And given those calls for action,

(05:48):
our most immediate concern has been that individuals or small
groups will draw some kind of twisted inspiration from the
events in the Middle East to carry out attacks here
at home. But now increasingly concerning is the potential for
a coordinated attack here yees.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
So, of course June is Pride month, and they're saying
that any gatherings just be extra very careful. They're on
a high alert because they don't know what's happening. They're
seeing their threats come online, and they're gonna make sure
that they watch every threat to make sure the American
citizens are safe.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Jesus.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
I mean yesterday, I tell you guys, my daughter has
the rolling cloud of graduations. Monday was her own schools graduation.
They broke down in the school's business school, this school
music school. So Monday was that yesterday they had like
a fair in the city. They shut down like ten
blocks and they had all the kids out there, and
during that whole time, I was nervous. I'm like, if

(06:47):
a car breaks through this barricade and you run over
at least one hundred, two hundred students and their parents,
and I'm like, I shouldn't have to think like that.
I should be enjoying the fact that my daughter went
to school for four years and she graduated. But I
was more fearful of what happened if somebody comes and
start shooting this place up, or somebody has a bomb,
or somebody drives through it. And that's not the way

(07:07):
to think. But that's also why I probably just don't
go out as much.

Speaker 7 (07:11):
Yeah, but that's how we gotta think.

Speaker 8 (07:12):
We see that, that's just how things go sometimes, Like now,
more often than not in this in the world.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
So yeah, very scary and that is front page news.
Now get it off your chest eight hundred five eight
five one oh five one. If you need to vent,
phone lines to wide open eight hundred five eight five
one oh five one. Let us know how your night was,
what your day is, how you're feeling. If you're feeling blessed,
you got something to get off your chest? Call us
up right now. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the
Breakfast Club. Wait, this is your time to get it

(07:45):
off your chest. Eight hundred and five eight five one
five one. We want to hear from you on the
Breakfast Club.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Hello, who's this?

Speaker 14 (07:53):
Hey? What's up to? Asine for Cincinnati?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Antoineinati? Get off your chest?

Speaker 2 (07:58):
What I First of all, I just want to say
I'm blessed.

Speaker 14 (08:00):
I woke up this morning. I ain't dead on jail,
so I can't complain. But what I wanted to get
off my chest?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Where if he was saying man about he couldn't enjoy
his daughter's graduation because as a threat of you know,
somebody doing something crazy, and unfortunately that's the world we
live here. I worked at a construction company and last week.
We just had active shooter trainer and they time out,
run high to fight, and I'm like, this is crazy.
I'm at work and i gotta I gotta be worried

(08:27):
about this type of stuff.

Speaker 14 (08:29):
While I'm at work.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
And unfortunately, man, that's the world we live here, so
you just gotta really stay prayed up.

Speaker 14 (08:34):
Man, keep your head on the swimming man.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Ain't that's a damned saying. That's all we can do.
I don't like being out. I don't like being around
a large crowds.

Speaker 11 (08:41):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
It was a carnival yesterday.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
They closed off like ten blocks in the city and
it was just nothing but students and parents. And I'm
sitting here the whole time, like somebody could drive right
through this barricade, somebody coming out of this shooting.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
And that's all I'm doing. I'm looking at everybody weird,
everybody with a.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Book bag, and I'm watching the students and the kids
and they having a good time, and I just couldn't
get into it because I'm.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I'm I was nervous.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
That's America. That's the kind of that we live in
the United States of anxiety exactly.

Speaker 14 (09:08):
Absolutely, man, y'all be safe, man, stay praying.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Up man, Yes, sir, Hello, who's this?

Speaker 10 (09:13):
It's Leon was good.

Speaker 14 (09:14):
It was good breakfast club.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Leon, Leon. Get it off your chest?

Speaker 10 (09:19):
Yeah, man, I feel like that. I felt like the
timber Wolves blue ish series d j Lvy Charlomagne just hilarious.
Good morning to all the blessings. But yeah, man, I
felt like the timber was blue this series. Losing three
in the row. That's not a good look.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yeah, but you're playing against the You're playing against the
defending champion then, But Nuggets and I mean the Wold
probably just ain't ready yet, that's all does They do
have the best player in basketball, you know, so the
defending champion and the defending champions.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I mean, it is what it is like Timoa was
probably just ain't ready yet. It ain't over yet. Though
it ain't over yet, Yes it is.

Speaker 11 (09:53):
They ain't know where yet. But in the game of basketball,
when you when you blues three in a row, so rap.

Speaker 14 (10:00):
It's over, especially against the especially.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yes, vote that'sh your team. Sorry for you, brother.

Speaker 10 (10:09):
Too.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Hello, who's that?

Speaker 15 (10:11):
Good morning? My name is Courtney. I'm falling from Texas.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Courtney.

Speaker 14 (10:16):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Courtney? Get it off your chest?

Speaker 15 (10:18):
So I called it week because it was put appreciation
week and I pass my certification, said, but it's been
on my on my mind to call back and say
that we have to vote out in Texas. We have
to vote out brig and he's our governor. He's sending
on billions of dollars on holding billions of dollars to
spend out to the Texas education system to a different

(10:39):
school districts and stuff because he wants these vouchers eight
thousand dollars education vouchers because he wants us to go
to a private school system. But it's causing a lot
of layoffs here in Texas unfortunately, and it's super sad
because all of these students are or you know, putting
fifty fifty kids per room to one teacher, or teachers

(11:02):
are being laid off, or teachers are quitting or supports staff.
More importantly, it's being laid off because he won't send
out the funding with me because he wants us support
for this voucher.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yeah, you know what I saw that I saw when
he cut a bunch of public school funding. But what
was so interesting about it. They were saying that Texas
has a state surplus of eighteen billion dollars, so they
got the resources to better fund the public schools.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
And what pisses me off about that that's tax payer
money and.

Speaker 15 (11:27):
They want and it's the students so bad it really,
he is my goddaughter. Her first years in middle school,
sixth and seventh grade kid not have a consistent math teacher,
and we thought she just was struggling in maths and actuality.
She just didn't have a teacher. And so eighth grade
got a consistent math teacher and she's going great. And
it's sad.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yeah, it's yeah. I'm telling you, man, this is why
paying taxes.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
You know, we do it, but it's such a stressful
process because we don't even be knowing where our money going.
And then when we can look at something like this
and say, yo, y'all are cutting the budgets for public schools.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
But then the state has a surplus of eighteen billion,
you have.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
The resources to better fund the public schools, and you're
still not using that money for it.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
So what the hell is they? How the money going?

Speaker 15 (12:09):
Yeah, so I wanted to say to you the teachers
listening and sex this, I know they hate doing in
the union because they take some money out every month
from your paycheck. But it's really important to join the
teach Virginia. It really is because at this point I
was telling my mom because she's the teacher, and say,
the superintendent came around and sold that we either have
to raise the property taxes or make layoffs take two years.

(12:31):
It's like it's so close. Next four year is two
months away. So it's important to join a union. Y'all
joining the Teacher Jr. Because something has to be done.

Speaker 16 (12:41):
It's really sad.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Thank you for calling. Get it off your chest eight
hundred and five eighty five.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
You know what I'm just talking about. The y'all be
having parties on random Tuesday nights. So we already talked
about it, like people ain't born in the nineteen hundreds.
But the hell were you out that time in night
four for what? Ain't nothing open past eleven o'clock go
on Tuesday except for legs?

Speaker 14 (13:00):
And I was in New York.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
We're naturally syndicated. Were in one hundred plus markets across.

Speaker 7 (13:09):
The country asking for me. I'm not syndicated.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
I'm I'm here. We got Jess with the mess coming up.

Speaker 8 (13:18):
Yes, cardy ain't giving us no album this year. No, No,
I'm gonna tell you what she said.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
All right, we'll get into that nextus to the breakfast
club in the morning. The breakfast club, everybody is burn.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
I'm sorry, I have heartburn because you're pregnant.

Speaker 17 (13:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
I've never had heart burn in my life yet.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Pregnant supid question of the craziest pregnant. What the hell
is heartburn?

Speaker 16 (13:40):
What?

Speaker 18 (13:40):
What?

Speaker 1 (13:41):
What do you feel like? I never had heart burn.
I don't know what it feels. White people heart burn?
What going to get heart burned?

Speaker 14 (13:50):
To get heartburn?

Speaker 8 (13:51):
It's like as the reflex. You ever heard as the reflex? Yes, yes,
stuff that people take tombs for. But I don't know
if I can even have tombs because I'm pregnant.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Many kids don't get heart burned. You ever had heart brown?
I've never had you did you did it?

Speaker 19 (14:06):
For real?

Speaker 4 (14:06):
I've never had well, just hilarious. I just want you
to know that heartburn is very common during pregnancy. I
just want to tell you that I have four daughters.
You know I have a wife. Okay, I've just never
had it. Sorry, yes you have, I have not. You've
definitely had heartburn before. You just didn't know it was
heart burn. You probably thought you was having a heart attack.
Maybe all right, Well let's get to jest with The.

Speaker 9 (14:26):
Message you use is real, whether it's Lars, Jessica, robber Moore,
just don't do no line, don't.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Talk nobody talk world why jes worldwide? On the Breakfast Club,
she's the coach.

Speaker 17 (14:42):
She was able to.

Speaker 20 (14:43):
Get y'all to see something and understand something that nobody
could get you to see.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
The time to set it off.

Speaker 7 (14:50):
M Cardi B pushes our album release again. So call
these fans. They are confused and they're upset about it.

Speaker 9 (14:58):
They've been waiting for another year for another album to come,
which she teased when she was up here.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
We asked her about it. What do you think it'll
come out first for your second album?

Speaker 17 (15:07):
My second album is gonna come out.

Speaker 9 (15:09):
I have to, I have to, I have to.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
When is the question? When people want this?

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Year?

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Next year, next year, next early next year. Just named
the album Lauren Hill. When it comes out, I know
yo or Anita, you know?

Speaker 2 (15:24):
I like that.

Speaker 14 (15:24):
I like that.

Speaker 7 (15:25):
But she responded to that fan tweeting, that's not happening.

Speaker 8 (15:29):
One of her fans tweeted and sold her that her
engagement with her fans isn't appreciated and then she should
take a break from social media. So Cardy said exactly,
And I tell myself this all the time, and I
hate that I fall back and start interacting again and
invites me in the ass.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Anyway, no album this year. I don't care.

Speaker 8 (15:44):
I'm relaxing this year. I'm dropping these features already. I
committed to traveling and enjoying my summer. She eventually deleted
that tweet, but shortly after that, she shared another tweet
celebrating and having four songs hit the billion mark on
Spotify and added.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
That she can't wait for us to see what she
got next, probably includes bonds for Barty for hitting a
billion screams.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
And also, I've already said it a million times, Cardi
don't have to put out a second album if she
don't want to put out a single here and there.
I think what Cardy really should be doing his TV
and film.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Like, oh you know for sure, Yeah we don't. We
don't need a second Cardi b album. Yeah, who modeling?

Speaker 4 (16:20):
I think she wants to do it, and I think
she wants to go back on the road and go
back on tour and do some new music. Cardi can
go into it right now with her catalog alone that
one album and then Cardi did with an album what
I feel all artists should do. Milk it like, why
do we live in this area where you put an
album out and then you know two months from now
is gone.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Do what she's to do? Do what Cardi b do?

Speaker 21 (16:39):
Do it?

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Kendrick Lamar do milks the project man well.

Speaker 8 (16:44):
H Academics accused of rape. Another man accused of rape.
Yesterday I lost He was fouled by woman named Zaia Abashi.
She claimed that Academics first of all, she claimed that
they dated and then they met in twenty twenty one,
and she allegedly went to axe house one night and
was greeted by two minutes. She didn't even expect to
be there. The document stated that two men spiked her drink.

(17:06):
It's like always the same story. The two men spiked
her drink and continued to serve her alcohol until they
raped her on academics pool deck. Then she allegedly woke
up at four am to Academics pulling her hair and
prying open her legs and brutally raping her. She accused
him of penetrating her anally and vaginally. She said when
she woke up next morning Academics, she asked him what happened,

(17:29):
and he showed her a garbage can with two condoms
in it and showed her surveillance footage from the pool deck.
The lawsuit said as she watched the video, she looked
like she was just lying there lifeless, which did not
sit right with her. She claimed Academics later text her
and said get tested. She eventually called her lawyer or
advised her to get a rape kit done, and she
claims that there were traces of academic sperm found and the.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Police have pictures of her bruises.

Speaker 8 (17:54):
There is allegedly a recorded phone call where Academics speaks
on having sex with her.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
She said that he chose to keep quiet.

Speaker 8 (18:00):
I mean that she chose to keep quiet and not
press charges until allegations came up last year. She claims
the Academics denied the assault, and acqus started voluntarily sleeping
with both his friends without any of his involvement, and
Academics actually addressed it.

Speaker 22 (18:16):
My only common should really be whatever this is will
be handled in court. Just know that according to the
law and according to the police and according to all
sanctioning governing authorities, Academics is an innocent man who has
not ever been charged with anything of the sort that
has to do with any deviancy or anything like that,

(18:37):
has never been charged, will never be charged.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
That's a fact.

Speaker 22 (18:40):
But this is a civil situation, brilliant, This is a shakedown,
This is a money trases situation.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
I mean, listen, I know people don't like DJ Academics
for a variety of reasons, but just because you don't
like him doesn't mean he's guilty or rape.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
And this is a civil case. Like he said, like
she's being represented.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
And you said something too, Jess, you said, it seems
like all of these stories.

Speaker 7 (19:00):
The same, the story, the lead up to build up everything, And.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
It does seem like that sometimes. But one of the
reasons is because a lot of these people have the same.

Speaker 7 (19:07):
Lawyer, the same lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (19:13):
Yeah, but I know a lot of people don't like Academics,
But the same energy he gives people when when allegations
come out and he goes in on him, whether they
found guilty or not guilty, it's gonna be the same
energy that people give him back of course, of course.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
So we'll just watch it some food.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
But that was just for the mess, all right, thank you, Jess.
Now when we come back, we got front page news.
Eric Adams has some jobs for migrants. He suggests some
jobs that migrants can do here for the summer.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
This was hilarious.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
I mean, I listen, I know, I know it's a
serious situation, but some of the stuff you got to
laugh at them.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
You wait till your here got chuckle.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
You saw this headline yesterday and you got some suggestions,
and I mean heartily chuckle.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
We'll get into when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, you're checking out the Breakfast Club Morning.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Everybody is team dj MV Jess, Hilarish, Chelamaine the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club. Now let's get in some
front page news.

Speaker 14 (20:07):
Now.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Last night in NBA, the Knicks beat the Paces one
twenty one ninety one. They lead the series three to
The Nuggets beat the Timberwolves one twelve ninety seven.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
It was Caitlin Clark's debut last night as well. They lost.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
I think she dropped like twenty points last night. So
packed house, you'll be okay, man.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
It's her first first game.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
And by the way, I see a lot of people,
they will root for the w NBA right, and they'll
root for angel Reaes as they should, but then they'll
try to like discredit Caitlyn Clark. You should be hoping
Kaitlyn Clark has massive success, because if Kaitlyn Clark has
massive success, then the WNBA will have massive success. If
you want those women to ever really get paid the

(20:47):
money that they deserve, you should hope Kitlyn Clark has
a sello WNBA career. Y's right, you them as what
the answer it was the list It would get the
listing and fatigue beat me up just now because y'all
want to be out last night for no damn reason.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
It's on a big Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
But it seems it is good to see them women
on charter jets and not have to ride to fly
and get to their games.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
It does seem good to be on their own, it does.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
I gotta see the jets though, because some of them
just look like the spirit players that they don't want
to use.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
That's what look.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
I got to look again, and they put like a
little school desk in it. It's like the spirit player
with a school desk in the middle. Well, I gotta look,
I gotta make sure I don't know. I saw one
of them playing to look a little suspect.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Well, Eric Adams, you know we have a migrant problem
here in New York City, and there's migrant problems everywhere. Well,
Eric Adams suggests some jobs that maybe the migrants can do.

Speaker 23 (21:44):
How do we have a large body of people that
are in our city and country that are excellent swimmers
and at the same time we need life guards and
the only obstacle is that we won't give them the
right rope to become a lifetime That just doesn't make sense.
But if we had a plan that say, you have
the shortage your food service workers and those who fit

(22:06):
the criteria, we're going to expect expedite you.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
If you have the.

Speaker 23 (22:11):
Experience that you are a nurse, which you have a
nurse's shortage, and we would expect expedite you. And that's
the same with lifeguards. So we have all these eligible
people waiting to work with the skills we need to
fill the jobs, but we're unable to allow them to
work because bureaucracy is in the way.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Eric Adams is right?

Speaker 14 (22:31):
Dammit?

Speaker 4 (22:32):
What drop one a clue above? Eric Adams, don't act
like Eric Adams not right. If these people can really
swim and they need work.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Let them be lifeguards.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
What's the issue if being a lifeguard not an honorable job?
And do we not need lifeguards? And as he said,
if you can cook, go in the kitchen and be
a cooker. If you not a nurse, go be a nurse.
If you can swim, take your how to be a lifeguard?
What is the problem here? I know the headline looks ridiculous,
and I chuckled what I saw yesterday and I listened to.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
What the man is saying. Is the man wrong? He's
not wrong.

Speaker 14 (23:05):
He's not wrong.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Come on, man, he's just walking snl sketch. But he's
not wrong.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
I mean, the city does have a lifeguard shortage right now,
and we do need lifeguards. It's about to get hot,
and you know the beaches, the lakes and all that
bice of water are open.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
I never thought about it, I don't you know.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
I never thought if there's a lifeguard shortage and we
got people that can swim, teach them how to be lifeguards.
I have no problem with that caption look crazy though
it's a funny headline. The man is a walking snl sketch. Okay,
he's comedy gold, but he's right. The caption is okay.
Eric Adams just migrants could be lifeguards because I mean,

(23:43):
excellent swimmers.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Y'all just don't care about life. Oh my god, migrants
are excellent swimmers, yes.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
And if they are, if they got the natural skills
set to swim, why can't they be lifeguards?

Speaker 1 (23:56):
All right?

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Well, lastly, speaking of migrants, in Florida, migrants were hurt
in a bus crash.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
A pickup truck actually crashed.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
Into a bus carryon migrant farm workers and thirty eight
were hurt.

Speaker 21 (24:10):
Tonight, the driver of this pickup truck arrested in charged
with manslaughter after this mess casualty bus crash on a
central Florida highway that killed at least eight people. Tonight,
the driver of this pickup truck arrested in charged with
manslaughter after this mess casualty bus crash on a central
Florida highway that killed at least eight people.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
At this point, we are conducting a massive traffic homicide investigation.

Speaker 24 (24:37):
We have a full team and then some here on
the scene this morning, a retired school bus carrying fifty
three migrant farm workers traveling on State Road forty in
Marion County. A two thousand and one Ford pickup coming
from the opposite direction on the two lane highway, then
moving towards the center lane, sideswiping the bus.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
I bet you all those migrant farm workers wi stayed
with lifeguards won't get hit by a truck in a
pool or on the beach.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
Yeah, very sad, though, very very sad. Eight killed, thirty
eight injured. And again the driver of the pickup truck
was arrested and one of the counts was driving under
the influence.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Damn. I wonder if those.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
I wonder if those migrant families are eligible for the sue, Like,
are they able to sue.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
The truck driver.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
I'm sure they can, Like, I wonder because that's usually
what happens in situations like that, right, Yeah, they sue,
the family get some money.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Like I wonder if the family will be able to.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
Sue she is a company assurance company, or if he
was working for somebody or whatever may be. I wonder,
very sad, all right, Well, that is front page news,
all right now when we come back. SWV and Escape
are joining us. They're doing a tour, the Queens of
R and B tour put on partly by Mona Scott Young.

(25:55):
And we're gonna be talking to SWV and Escape and
we're gonna get on a little minix. If you want
to HESK s WV some Escape music this morning, hit
me up right now, let me know what joint you
want to play, what you want to hear, and I'll
try to get them on for you.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
All right, It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club.
Morning everybody. It's the j n V.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
Jesse Larius Charlamagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
We got some special guests joining us today. We have
sw V and Escape.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
What how y'all feeling? This is a lot to move around? Expensive?
How was we're working with everybody now?

Speaker 5 (26:35):
Is it difficult getting everybody on the road together, getting
nobody on time? Because at first they said y'all gonna
be a certain time, They like, somebody will be just
a little late.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
But then y'all all came together. How is that? Who's
the latest? I was ready, I heard it, but I
don't know.

Speaker 17 (26:59):
I'm a I do have a problem. But I'm never
late when I get there ready, ain't nobody done?

Speaker 1 (27:13):
So you me the one y'all got to tell our
early just to get on time.

Speaker 17 (27:17):
Okay, that is that still doesn't work today.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
To come together, mama.

Speaker 9 (27:29):
The mic.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
To get them together. Obviously a lot of people know.

Speaker 9 (27:34):
After that, we did the reality show together kind of
like put things on ice for a while. And then Mona,
you know, she just kept coming back with ideas and
she got us all on the same page. And and
I'm glad she did because you know, we always friends
for a while, so it was crazy that we allowed
to show they're like mess things up whatever, you know

(27:54):
what I mean. And and this is I feel like
it's a perfect time to come back. We also got
our girls seven o two total, so it's gonna be
a really fun tour, Like we're gonna have a good time.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
What about the realities broke up? Exactly.

Speaker 9 (28:10):
We were just you know, just having our own We
had our own inner turmoil, you know what I mean.
And then you know, we had bumped heads about stupid stuff.

Speaker 18 (28:19):
You know what I mean, And it don't help when
you get the people involved, you know, media, And that
was how was it.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
With your families and your life so into the press
because anything that you do, family does, kids do, it's
in the press all the time.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Does that get annoying?

Speaker 18 (28:40):
Yes?

Speaker 25 (28:41):
Yeah, of course everybody's accountable, Like we have to be
accountable for every little thing that we do because we're
not the only ones that feel it.

Speaker 17 (28:48):
Yeah, so you almost have to live your life for
other people.

Speaker 25 (28:52):
You know, it's it's the most uncomfortable feeling ever, but
you got to do the best you can and just
not nda.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Is it make it difficult to be a parent?

Speaker 5 (29:08):
You got to You got a daughter that's graduating this week.
Does it make it difficult that because everything that she
does is online. I remember I took them all out
one night right with my daughter, and I was so
nervous because I felt like a chaperone.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Right now you're looking but like, oh they're drinking. I
hope nobody sees them drinking. It's like people that don't
know both of our daughters go to NYU.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
Yeah, on the side, but they all went out for
a birthday and I was the chaperon, so I had
to get security. I had to make sure and I
didn't like it, Like it was like it was too
much stress on me because at the end of the
I'm like rabber. If Candy calls me next morning, was like, Andy,
why did I daughter get back at this time? Like
it's a lot, but it's always in the public, So
how do you deal with that?

Speaker 1 (29:48):
I mean, we're used to it at this point.

Speaker 24 (29:50):
We was.

Speaker 9 (29:50):
I mean I was on Housewife for fourteen seasons, so
Riley grew up in it and she's about to do
something else, you know, So it's just kind of like
I just told her, you know what, whatever you do,
just know, you just say, hey, I have fun doing it,
and if I messed up, I messed up.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
I'm about to get it right the next time. Yes,
after the reality show, you know, y'all had y'all little issues.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
What was that first conversation like, because nowadays it seems
like nobody knows good conflict resolution skills?

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Ye, what did y'all? What conversations did y'all have that
got y'all back on the same page?

Speaker 25 (30:19):
I thought it was It was really cool because when
Mona got us all back together, we hadn't spoken to
each other. But what I thought was really cool was
that we put the managers out. We put everybody out
and it was just a six yeah. And it's easier
that way.

Speaker 17 (30:36):
We worked it out. We talked, We let each other
know how we felt about certain things.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
And who's the most difficult, who's the I call it
the virgo of the group that's like me. I want
Coco to answer the most difficult. I couldn't mean.

Speaker 17 (31:00):
I just you know, I know what I want, what
I believe in, and I'm gonna go for it. I
don't want nobody to tell what to do. You're gonna
say no twenty times in four years, and it's just
the yes.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
It ain't even the hard yes.

Speaker 17 (31:16):
You don't know, just going with the flow.

Speaker 26 (31:18):
I don't know that she tells me all this is
the one thing you catch more beads will hiding.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
I just like I don't tell her assimilate.

Speaker 7 (31:25):
I'm trying, you know, I'm not there yet.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
But in this business, all of y'all gotta be stirned
because you're black, you're women. You try to get over
on you. So you gotta have those boundaries.

Speaker 26 (31:35):
Sure for sure, Yes, and we which one of us.
We think our group is the best. So you're gonna
have something. Yeah, you're gonna bump pass, but you know,
we come to a resolution.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
We did have a conversation one day on the air
about who closes the show? Remember I remember.

Speaker 9 (31:52):
Remember that was part of the drama where we had
during the season, and I was like, how do you
figure out?

Speaker 5 (31:57):
Because I guess it's certain markets, group of clothes and
maybe not. So how did y'all figure that out?

Speaker 1 (32:03):
We have a thirty shows.

Speaker 18 (32:04):
Yeah, we just just decided to split it down in
the middle. You know what I'm saying, thirty shows, you
closed fifteen, we closed fifteen.

Speaker 14 (32:10):
We just do it like that.

Speaker 9 (32:11):
But to be clear, our show is intertwined. So for people,
it's not gonna be one of those concerts where you know,
one act goes do their whole show and then the
next act goes.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
It's like we're doing kind of like Versus.

Speaker 9 (32:23):
But a live fun or a better version where we
going back and forth doing our you know, our hits.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
So yeah, it's gonna work out.

Speaker 9 (32:31):
Yeah, the last song is gonna change, you know for fifteen,
you know versus fifteen or whatever, but it's still the
whole show is gonna be like you're gonna feel like
you're going back down memory lane and being able to
sing every hit of ours that you've ever felt, you
know what I mean. And it's not gonna ever like
make you to a point where you want to sit
down because you're gonna be like, oh, this is my joint,
and then they're gonna go and it was, Oh, that's

(32:53):
my joint.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
It's gonna keep going back and forth. Is this why
you took a break from Real Housewives?

Speaker 9 (32:57):
No, I wasn't the only reason. I have a whole
bunch of different things that I'm doing. I'm producing The
Wiz on Broadway. I got another show that I'm about
to announce that I'm producing. I'm filming on a TV
show I can't even announce shit. So it's a lot
of other things that I really wanted to do that unfortunately,
you know, I don't know if y'all watched last season.
I was always they was always mad because I was

(33:18):
working on something else and that wasn't going to change
because I got a lot of dreams I'm trying to
make happen. It's extra busy, yeah, but I still got
love for them. I'm still gonna be supporting them, you know.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
All Right, we got more with SWUV and Escape when
we come back matter of fact, let's get into an
Escape mini mixes The Breakfast Club. Good Morning morning everybody,
It's dej env Jess hilarious, Charlamage, the guy we are
the Breakfast Club was still kicking it with Escape in
SWV Charlamagne.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
So why is this so important to do this? It
was very important for my group and you know, us
together to do this.

Speaker 9 (33:49):
I mean, I personally want to keep the legacy of
our groups going, you know what I mean. I feel
like it's crazy to be able to say that back
in the nineties we had hits and now in twenty
for we're still able to headline tours and go across
the country.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Like as women, you know what I mean, I think
that's very important. I don't know about you all, but as.

Speaker 9 (34:09):
Women, you know, I'm all about you know, we got
to make moves and big moves and show people like, yeah,
like this is where it's at.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
You know what I mean? What about important for you?

Speaker 18 (34:18):
I mean because it's something that I really love doing,
and I mean it just it's just a different feeling
from everything else that we do. And you know, our
music is still living and doing his things, So it's
just it's just a great thing to be able to
be able to go out there and sell arenas and
do these shows.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
So I mean, I feel like me, I feel like.

Speaker 18 (34:42):
Why not you know what I'm saying. The money and
you know, for a long time we wasn't doing any
shows and so many acts in our era was you know,
getting that money.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
And I'm just like going to my.

Speaker 18 (34:52):
Gut, like why aren't we getting the money? Like on
we can't even we can't get along, like we're missing out.
So we finally, you know, thankful to Jermaine and Autumn.
They were trying to do like a movie on us
that we didn't have none to do it.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
So that's really what brought us back together.

Speaker 18 (35:09):
I was trying to figure that out, like, oh, they're
doing a movie on us and we ain't got nothing to.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
Do with it.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
Yeah, So that's how we got back.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
To where we are. Was it important for you'all? S WV?

Speaker 27 (35:18):
This is something that I've been wanting to do since
how long. I think we got back together in twenty
two thousand and five, and I just always wanted to
put a girl group tour back together. The nineties was
just beautiful, with so many varieties of girl groups doing
their things successfully. I missed that vibe and I wanted

(35:39):
to do it again. It's just been so hard trying
to get everybody together. But finally this situation came along,
and I'm like, all for it.

Speaker 25 (35:45):
I thought it was dope because I think we left
a lot of things open, you know, since the show.
And another thing, I don't think men really give us
the support I think we deserve. Yeah, so for us,
for the world to see us come together as women
and support each other like this, I think it's a
big deal for me because y'all support each other, y'all
don't support us.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
But but I've also seen the shift in R and
B music because I would say maybe about four or
five years ago, it started shifting where R and B
music it was army music parties, army music concerts.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Army music things.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
And I'm sure you guys seen that ship because at
one time it felt like, I don't want to say
it was dead, but people didn't respect the nineties groups
like they should have. But I've seen that shift where
it's like you're seeing concerts, you're seeing shows. I mean,
think about it, a vague show lovers and friends when
they had thirty forty thousand people. You would never see
that before, but that was always a good thing.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
And I got to ask. I got to give you
a lot of props. You took dogs getting shut up.
Don't even break that shot up?

Speaker 4 (36:58):
You know?

Speaker 20 (37:00):
I do.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Think did you change a collection?

Speaker 17 (37:08):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Well he said that, He said, vagina getting discoloration?

Speaker 14 (37:14):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
You said, I have vintage, But I don't know what
you're talking about, advantage vagint I got nail thing.

Speaker 18 (37:29):
Wait, that's kind of.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
A good thing. Or did you give him the.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Saying anything? You think this generation even knows what nineties are.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Wet they're gonna learn about? Do you think do y'all
think this generation even knows what real RMB is?

Speaker 13 (38:15):
Oh?

Speaker 27 (38:15):
Absolutely, there are a ton of youngster's millennials, gen z's
that know about StEB B and Escape because their parents
are teaching them about that. We did a show last
year with Glowrilla and a couple of other young rappers.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
We were like, why are we here?

Speaker 27 (38:33):
But those kids were out there singing those songs like
they were there when we recorded them, and they're holding
their moms up on FaceTime.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
Hey, for music is not the same. R and B
doesn't seem like it's the same. Even even my daughter.

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Now, of course she listens to Sis and she listens
to someone Walker, But when these records come on in
the house, she knows every word, word for word, like
these are her artists. She looks at you, you guys,
at her artists like we do. Which is different time,
it's not this.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Don't get the same.

Speaker 27 (39:00):
Behavior when you When you immerse these kids in this
kind of music, they love it. Then you have TikTok,
you have all these YouTube My son used to sit
there and and uh look up different artists on YouTube,
and he would like, I think it was so cool,
And I'm like, that's old school music, you know it
isn't it is.

Speaker 17 (39:19):
I have to tell my grand baby, no, they didn't
make that song. The song came from this.

Speaker 18 (39:24):
So you know, you got to take you even though
she's my child. She goes she knows all of escape songs,
all the songs that we don't sing. Work slowly, she sang.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
I'm like, you cannot sing these songs.

Speaker 18 (39:37):
She's singing every She's like, and I know this song
and I.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
She oh my god, that's crazy that you said. I
feel like we just seen and everything.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
She knows what she.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Wants to do.

Speaker 9 (39:55):
You got to realize, like a lot of our songs
and other R and B songs, they end up branding
and everything on social media and people be making their
own video clips, not knowing where they got the song from.
They just started singing and blow it up all over again.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
So is there any songs y'all tired of performance? But
you got to because it's want.

Speaker 18 (40:14):
Tonight for me last.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
You don't like tonight? I mean I do, but you know,
like sometimes we have to show you, like we need
to cut the songs down.

Speaker 18 (40:25):
I'll be ready to cut tonight. They never want to
cut tonight.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
She don't want to have the pressure of hitting the
I know at the end.

Speaker 18 (40:33):
You know.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
What about y'all?

Speaker 27 (40:37):
Anything that you're to do form and every last song.
Every time we sing those songs, I feel blessed. I'm
gonna sing them everything the bottom of my heart.

Speaker 17 (40:45):
We don't we get tired to right here?

Speaker 15 (40:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (40:47):
Right?

Speaker 20 (40:49):
What?

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Why choreography? It's just the choreography, that's why.

Speaker 26 (40:55):
No, it's not the choreography.

Speaker 25 (40:57):
It's more of a radio it's not a performance.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
Mean, I feel like I feel like that, Like it's
so good. It's more like, right here, one of them one.

Speaker 5 (41:15):
I have to do it, but you don't want to
do just Yeah, we got more with s w V
and Escape when we come back. Now, let's get into
an s w V Mini mix. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning morning. Everybody is d J n V J, Hilarrys, Charlamage,
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. That was an
s w V Mini mixed Escaping s w V our head.
They're on tour, the Queens of R and B Tour, Charlamagne.

Speaker 4 (41:36):
And you was on Survivor, right, yes, sir? Did you
want to say, uh, you compared Survivor to working with Escape?

Speaker 1 (41:45):
No, I said, I compared Survivor to you taking le out.

Speaker 18 (41:51):
That's what I said.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
It was hard, hard, Jesus christ Man, it was crazy.

Speaker 27 (42:20):
Look, Survivor is the only reality television show, but that's
the only one.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
There no storylines, there's nothing.

Speaker 27 (42:27):
You're out there with absolutely nothing and you have to
literally survive.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
So will I do it again?

Speaker 7 (42:32):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
They've been trying to get me to come.

Speaker 17 (42:34):
Back, so we order something like surviving.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
We need to do a show. We have to depend on.

Speaker 7 (42:46):
Show prepared, the reality her scale, the fish.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
It can do either one. It depends on what you
do with it.

Speaker 9 (42:58):
Really, man, I definitely feel like, you know, I've had
moments where I hated it, obviously, but I feel like
I really built a big fan base through it, you know,
up down.

Speaker 25 (43:12):
I think that's what everything though, like, even when y'all
coming to work every day, is you gotta deal with
the political book, and you're gonna do with something. No
matter what you do, you're gonna deal with something. It's
just how you resolve.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
What's the crazies you heard about yourself? If it was
I heard I used to be.

Speaker 27 (43:32):
Somebody did a background check on that said when I
saw it was like people saying, taj, yeah, she's doing
much better now because she used to be on the street.

Speaker 14 (43:41):
I'm like.

Speaker 27 (43:44):
A little background check thinking, but no, I've never been
a prostitute, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Y'all know what mine is.

Speaker 18 (43:51):
I got women locked up in the basement, them up
because you know what I'm saying, them down.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
How you able to navigate through that though? Timey? Like,
like when you hear those stories about yourself, you know,
they pissed me off more so than anything.

Speaker 18 (44:07):
But you know, just because I want to say so much,
and I have to you know, everybody always tell me no,
I can't say anything my lawyers and tip and not
be on my head. So I just had to be quiet.
That's the that's the part that really bothers me the most.
It's just not being able to nobody believe you anyway.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
Nobody cares about the children.

Speaker 18 (44:25):
Yeah, so you know, and I have to my husband
telling me all the time, like it don't matter. You know, nobody,
you know, either they gonna believe you or the night
and most of the people are their split so you can't.
You can't get everybody. So just forget about it and.

Speaker 7 (44:39):
Ever been like where it affected your kids in school
like anything.

Speaker 9 (44:43):
Like that, because I think about it on that level too,
Like I got kids, successful kids, and like they still
have their life, like you know what I mean, they
got to Yeah.

Speaker 18 (44:53):
I felt like maybe so, but they don't really talk
about it. They don't really say, oh, I've had a
bad day because of this and that. Like Major is
one of the main kids just in school right now,
and he's so he's so chill, like he don't never
just be like, you know, I just had the worst
day to day. If he does have a bad day.
He probably he don't really have bad days because he

(45:14):
don't care about nothing. You know what I'm saying, He
don't really care about.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Anything, you king, well, King.

Speaker 4 (45:24):
King.

Speaker 18 (45:24):
Really he's got tough skin like he and I'm glad
he got tough skin because you know, he get he
get the most flack out of everybody.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
But he's got really tough skins, so he doesn't. He
could care less with this. He'd be like, yeah, tell
keep talking about me.

Speaker 22 (45:36):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 18 (45:37):
He don't mind, So I'm okay with that, you know
what I'm saying. So all our kids that pretty much
they know us, and they pretty much you know, they they.

Speaker 7 (45:47):
They don't really care what nobody saying.

Speaker 18 (45:48):
They kind of like, I know who my mom and
my dad is, so you know, it don't really bother
them like I would think it would. And the air
she's just too young, so she just kind of she
just living life, right.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
How does I don't know if this is true, but
they say Latasha fire a lawsuit against the group.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
Is that true?

Speaker 4 (46:11):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Still follow lawsuit against us?

Speaker 17 (46:15):
She sent a letter to.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
Yeah, it's yeah.

Speaker 18 (46:22):
I think it was more of a scare tactic. But
it didn't it didn't work. You know, we kind of
knew our writes.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
How does that impact the personal relationship though?

Speaker 18 (46:31):
As right now, we don't really have a personal relationship,
you know what I'm saying, nobody. We don't really speak.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
We don't.

Speaker 18 (46:36):
I don't even think we have her number for real,
for real, they changed their numbers. So you know, we're
just going on moving. You know, it comes to us.
It comes to us. But you know, we're just doing
that regular daily thing, moving around like you know it is.
It is more so you know, you know, this is

(46:57):
what life is bringing us to make it.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
I don't really like to talk about it is wonderful.

Speaker 28 (47:04):
I have a wonderful family, my children, I'm a grandma.

Speaker 7 (47:07):
Wonderful husband from the New York he's from New York City. Yeah,
life is good.

Speaker 28 (47:13):
You know, sometimes you have to separate in order for
certain people to know your worth, and until they know it,
you just be separated.

Speaker 25 (47:22):
But life goes on and sometimes you got to separate
from people closest to you, whether it be family or whatever.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
Definitely does it make you feel any guilt though, when
you're all out.

Speaker 7 (47:32):
On the road, No guilt when you're when you're not
in the room, you don't feel guilt, right, Just congratulations
you look so big so much.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
I noticed pregnant.

Speaker 14 (47:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (47:49):

Speaker 1 (48:16):

Speaker 5 (48:20):
Yeah, thank you birthday all right, you guys for joining
us ticket bath for tickets yeaha dot com and ticketmaster

my birthday.

Speaker 26 (48:36):
You know it's.

Speaker 28 (48:40):
We don't turn up a birthday a long time. It's
all right to work on your birthday, your birthday.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Escape.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
I hate you all for having. First of all, thank
you to s w V and Escape for holding up
to Breakfast club.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
I hate don't say you hate me, I love you.
I just hate y'all for having a par on a
Tuesday night for no damn reason.

Speaker 14 (49:01):
It wasn't.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
It wasn't my choice in February, but it was coold
when it actually came. Now we're sitting in here tired.
What's your negal? Golden said yesterday, having fun is exhausting. Yes, no,
she wasn't lying. Yeah, she is not lying. But let's
get to just with the message.

Speaker 14 (49:17):
Use is real.

Speaker 7 (49:18):
Her lines just robbing Moore.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Just don't do no lines, don't do talk, don't stand
talk world why jes world? Which on the Breakfast Club.
She's a coaching ship.

Speaker 20 (49:33):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody could get you.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
To see this time to set it off.

Speaker 7 (49:40):
Ain't having fun. It's even more exhausting when you're out.
You're not having fun.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Oh my god, you just wishing to be on. What's
the point of even being out? We were just talking
about that in the back and it's crazy.

Speaker 8 (49:50):
All right, shooting takes place in near little baby video shoot.
So yesterday he shot Oh my god, no, yes, he
was out signing the land. He was shooting the video
and we have the report for it.

Speaker 1 (50:00):
On five PM this.

Speaker 19 (50:01):
Evening, our officers with dispatching the two thousand block of
Verbina Street in reference to multiple people shot. Upon arrival,
we did in fact find individuals that had been shot
on scene. One of the individuals that was shot he
self transported himself to the hospital where he was at
Grady not too long after the incident, but the other

(50:22):
two individuals were transported by ems. A subsequent investigation as
revealed there was a music video that was being shot
at the location at the time in which the shots
were fired. We do know that there were several people
on scene as well as several vehicles, and we had
multiple individuals fleet to scene subsequent to the shooting. So
we're still in the early phases of the investigation, but

(50:42):
we do have some of the best detectives in the
business that are working to try to get to the.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
Bottom of this. Take a shot every time the cops
is shot. I know, man.

Speaker 8 (50:49):
It was the three guys, three young guys. They were
in the twenties. One was shot in the arm, one
was shot in the back, and then one was shot
in the neck. And yeah, as far as it's been confirmed,
like they weren't actually in the video, but they were
involved and that they may have had some involvement in
the actual shooting, and a spokesperson confirmed that they they
was hesitant to say that it was a little baby's video,

(51:11):
but people was out there recording and everything. That's the problem,
and so they connected it like to little baby's video shoot.
But he was confirmed to be unharmed and.

Speaker 7 (51:23):
Was not involved. His team was not involved in the shooting,
nothing like that.

Speaker 5 (51:25):
But that's the problem because before the video was even shot,
everybody seen all the trucks pulling up all over the
internet that he was shooting. You know that he was
shooting his video and he was there, so I'm sure
the hood just came out to see a little baby.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
And lets the optional where you're at too, sending healing
in and to all those people who were shot. But
I'm telling you later on look at this video on YouTube,
look at this breakfast club, just with the mess and
on over the weekend. Don't do it during the week
because you probably got a life with it on the weekend.
Take a shot every time you hear somebody in this
part of the segment they shot.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
So you trained somebody real hungover. It's a fun drinking gain.

Speaker 8 (52:02):
I know it's right, And then you just say having
fun is exhausting yes, lord though, yeah, that's true.

Speaker 7 (52:08):
Fifty cent response to STEVJ.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 9 (52:11):
STEVEEJ shared a video of himself dancing and flexing in
the mirror to King Colemb's.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Recent song pick a Side. He's shirtless in the video.

Speaker 8 (52:18):
I'm trying to show off his muscles, I guess, And
towards the end of the video he started throwing up
gang signs like he's not.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
Old as we know.

Speaker 8 (52:26):
There's a part of the song where King Colembs mentioned
fifty and fifty fifty already responded to that, but now
Stevie J inserted himself in the situation.

Speaker 7 (52:33):
Fifty has words for him too.

Speaker 27 (52:36):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (52:36):
Fifty shared a video of Stevie J.

Speaker 8 (52:39):
He like reposted the video that Stevie posted with throwing
up gang signs on the fifty part and he said
he's laughing.

Speaker 7 (52:46):
He said, why you make why you make a video
like this?

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Man?

Speaker 7 (52:49):
I cannot wait to be in the same place with you.

Speaker 14 (52:51):
Guys.

Speaker 7 (52:51):
I know you don't know about me.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
If you listen to King Kombs song and you say
to yourself, this song was corny, and you say to yourself,
why is he saying these things? Like why is he
even insinuating that there's an issue with fifty. Why is
he saying things like the Fed didn't check the other house?
And you're saying like, damn, why would this song even
come out?

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Look at his o gs? Yes, seriously, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 4 (53:12):
Like, come on, Stevie j y'all, y'all gotta know better,
Like why are y'all antagonizing this situation?

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Yes, I'm jang signs, that's why. Like why y'all doing that?
I just don't know.

Speaker 5 (53:21):
And if you want smoke and you want to step
to him when you see him, why would you put
it online? That pretty much say that you know we
have beef, we have a problem, Like why are you
gonna put it out there?

Speaker 4 (53:31):
And why would you put this young man who's twenty
six years old King Combs in the middle of this.
Y'all know that young man ain't.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
Built like that. That man's waves are beautiful? No, no, okay,
he said that beautiful beautiful. Now he's a good kid,
Like why do that?

Speaker 4 (53:43):
Why?

Speaker 7 (53:44):
And even in his song, he don't even sound convincing.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
No, check the other house.

Speaker 4 (53:49):
When do y'all say no Diddy again, it's gonna be something.
It's not are we gonna show you like what they
gonna be screaming No Diddy at this young man on something.
I bet you when you see Gucci man, you won't
say nothing. Guca Man got a whole song called No
Diddy Messed up. You know what I'm saying, Like, stop
doing that. Why are we antagonizing this situation? You put
fuel on things for no reasons. E j y'all supposed
to calm this down, not.

Speaker 7 (54:09):
Will say, don't put out this record man, exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (54:13):
It ain't worth it. Nope.

Speaker 7 (54:15):
But that is just domestic of this era.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Thank you, Jess Charlomage. We're getting a Duncan two man
for after the Hour.

Speaker 4 (54:21):
You know, my new book is called Getting Honest or
that line, and I feel like we should all be
as honest as possible, But it starts with being honest
with yourself. This person from Florida might be a little
too honest. We'll discuss four after that hour.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
All right, we'll get to that nextus to breakfast club.
Good morning, you're like into the breakfast club. Make sure
you're telling me to watch out for Florida. The craziest
people in America come from the Bronx in all of four. Yes,
you are a donkey.

Speaker 6 (54:52):
The Florida man attacked an ATM for a very strange reason.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
It gave him too much money. Florida man is arrested
after that, the stage, the door to his home, and
an attempt to electric hid his president lights.

Speaker 7 (55:02):
Police arrested in Orlando man for talking us from Luna.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
The breakfast club. Bitch, you don't here today with shalam
Hayne to God, I don't know why y'all keep it
letting him get y'all elected. It's not me a little
duke off.

Speaker 14 (55:13):
It's y'all.

Speaker 4 (55:14):
Okay, donkey today for Wednesday, May fifteenth. Today is the
fifteenth right, Yes it is, Yes, goes to a Florida
man named Stephen Boldly. Now, what does your uncle Shalla
always tell you The craziest people in America come from
the Bronx, and all of Florida in today is absolutely
no exception.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (55:30):
One thing I've always admired about people from Florida is
their honesty. Okay, don't ask someone from Florida their opinion
if you don't want a real answer. That. Don't get
me wrong. There's a lot of lion ask people in
Florida too. They are the home with a scam bam,
thank you, ma'am. Don't get it twisted. You will get
for next by folks in Florida too. But for the
most part, they are very honest people, even to a fault,

(55:50):
even to their own detriment. And that's why we are
here today. See Stephen Bodley was convicted by an Orange
County jury last week of sexual battery on a child.
He admitted this sexually abusing his cousin. Disgusting, probably very
triggering for so many of us, because this is something
that happens in families that people don't talk about. Very
easy to talk about the sexual abuse you may have

(56:12):
been a victim of when you are discussing a stranger,
you know, but it's not that easy when you're talking
about someone in your own family. Well, Stephen, he opened
up about it, but he wasn't the victim. He opened
up about being the perpetrator. Now, there's nothing wrong with
confessing your sins.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
We all should.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
If you have done handis things to someone and you
want to get it off your chest, you want to
get it off your spirit, do it. The reason Steven
is getting the credit he deserves to being stupid today
is because of where he confessed his sin. Now, would
you like to know what this man's sin was and
would you like to know where he confessed it? Well,
he was doing a job and if you for a
police department, he was plying to be a copy. During

(56:49):
the job interview, he admitted to playing sexual games with
a family member. So a certified voice stress analyst examiner
performed a voice stress examination on him and asked him
to expand on this concerning answer that he provided in
the pretest questionnaire.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
And when he expounded, he described sexually abusing a child
years ago.

Speaker 4 (57:10):
Detectives tracked down the victim's mother, and the mother said
Bodily and the victim had a close relationship, and the victim,
who is a child, told the Department of Children and
Families about the abuse, saying it took place over several
years from when Bodley was fourteen years old to nineteen
years old. The Bodily's lawyer asked that his confession not
be presented during trial. Negro, please, this is why I

(57:31):
can't stop saying the N word. I'll be trying, but
Niggs be nigging man. Now, I believe we need more
honest police officers. I believe we need more honest people
in the world. Every day in my life, I wake
up and I challenge myself to be as honest as possible.

Speaker 1 (57:43):
And the person I need to be honest with the
most is myself.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
We lie to ourselves every day, and then we volunteer
those lives the other people every day. That is literally
what my new book, Getting Honest to that line is
all about. You have to be honest with yourself at
all times. Okay, Stephen is clearly being honest with himself,
and him being honest with himself is allowing him to
be honest with others.

Speaker 1 (58:03):
But Steven, what made you believe you was gonna still
get a job? Okay, not just says a police officer, but.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
Any job after admitting that you sexually abused a child
at any point in your life. Okay, now, mind you,
it was a sworn officer application.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
So I respect him for not lying.

Speaker 4 (58:22):
I don't like people who swear on the Bible, swear
on their kid's life, swell on their dad and mama,
swell on they daddy, swell on the homies. Just be
swearing and swearing. Noing, ay, lying people like that can't
be trusted on no level. So the fact he swore
to tell the truth and didn't lie commendable. But why
did you think that was gonna get you the job?
Did you think they was gonna look and say, well,

(58:44):
he played sexual games with his younger cousin, he diddled
a child, but he was honest about it.

Speaker 1 (58:50):
No, that's not how this works.

Speaker 4 (58:51):
Before we move forward with this application, we're gonna need
you to put your hands on you back.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (58:56):
Anything you can't say can and will be used against
you in a court of law. And you've all aready
giving us enough to use. Imagine going to apply for
a job as a police officer and coming out of
criminal now he's facing a life sentence. You will never
be able to convince this man that honesty is the
best policy.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
Ever.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
Again, he's sitting in jail right now, locked up, saying
the himself, well, why would they ever tell me? The
truth will set me free? The truth got me locked up,
as it should. The moral of the story is, always
tell the truth on a job application, because if the
job is for you, it's gonna be for you. I
couldn't think anything better, y'all, I'm tired. Yeah, I'll just

(59:33):
try to have something of socially redeeming value to say
that tomorrow of the story.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
It's making crazy. Okay, please give Stephen Bodily the biggest
he huh, what is going on y'all?

Speaker 4 (59:46):
I mean, come on, like, how does the human brain work?
And say I'm gonna go into this police today makes
no sense. I'm gonna fill out this job application. It's
a sworn application, and I'm gonna tell the truth that
I sexually abuse the child and think that I'm gonna
stillet a job.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
Probably excited? You got a call back? Oh they called
me back? What because they're outside? Could you come back
down here please? They might want to bring you lawyer.
That is crazy. All right, Well, thank you for that
dunk of to day.

Speaker 14 (01:00:12):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
People lie on job applications every day.

Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
By the way, let's open up the phone lines eight
hundred five eight five one oh five to one. Have
you ever lied on a job application? And it's that
job application for you if you had to lie, because
remember what I just said.

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
I said that if you.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
You should always tell the truth on a job application,
because it's a job is for you. It's going to
be for you regardless.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
Crac.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Now, I'm a person. I got several felonies, right, so
you know when you feel like the job application, have
you ever been convicted of a crime? Ya, YadA, YadA.
You gotta fill that in. But I still ended up
getting a lot of those jobs, right because clearly those
jobs were for me.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
I feel like you probably lied on your Taco Bell
application when you were was a manager.

Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
I couldn't lie youre talking about. And I needed a
job because I was on oprobation. So see how much
you know, dummy.

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Aar to being a kid. That's how long you worked there?
For weeks? Because I got five and sister fire. God
how your sister hire you? And then your sister fire?

Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
Yeah, because he was being a little brother.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
That's what your daddy think you gay? No, I'm sorry,
I'm sorry. No, he thinks we'd game. No, ain't nowhere.

Speaker 5 (01:01:13):
No, he thinks weird game. No, not just me, it's
you two. Hey, why your son in law look like
your son man?

Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
Yes, yesterday he was like, that's n signed.

Speaker 1 (01:01:20):

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
On the planet, I'm like, damn, make that color yellow.
I don't make it a Hey, that was so messed up. Okay,
what's the topic? I hate you. That's the topic.

Speaker 5 (01:01:48):
We just went from being gay to being yellow to
you know what all light skinned people looking like? That's right,
describing yellow. Oh my, eight hundred five eight five five one.
We're asking have you ever lied on a job application?

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
At your opinion to the Breakfast Club top breaking down.
Eight hundred five eight five one o five one. The
Breakfast club said, he called my phone. It's topic.

Speaker 29 (01:02:27):

day to who.

Speaker 4 (01:02:41):
Oh man, donkey of today went to, uh, who the
hell donkey? They went to oh, Stephen Bodley. He is
a twenty six year old man from Florida. I think
twenty six, twenty nine. I forgot the age. But he
was filling out a job application to be a police
officer and on the police on the application he admitted
the section me abusing a child. It was a swawn application,

(01:03:02):
so he admitted to sexually abusing a child on the
on the applications.

Speaker 5 (01:03:06):
So we're asking eight hundred five eight five one one.
Have you ever lied on a job application stole with you?

Speaker 14 (01:03:12):
Just have you?

Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have.

Speaker 7 (01:03:14):
You know what you lied about being black or some ever?

Speaker 16 (01:03:20):
What?

Speaker 8 (01:03:20):
Because I already have, Like Jessica More, it's kind of like,
you know, you can be the or a fan and yeah,
I just I would put I never put white and
just put other. I did put white one time, put other.
But yeah, I had a lot about my race.

Speaker 14 (01:03:38):
And my.

Speaker 7 (01:03:40):
Job history.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
I think a lot of people do that make up
their job history for mad jobs.

Speaker 8 (01:03:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I never ever told the trip about
a falling falling down? Why I just wanted the job,
don't want to hire you identity that people like what
you don't even want.

Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
To be you?

Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
Ain't nobody tell you to steal the stole crack like me, No.

Speaker 7 (01:04:00):
No, I don't want to sell correct, I want to do.

Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Something crack.

Speaker 4 (01:04:05):
Never stopped me from getting a job though, I mean,
I I you know, even which is crazy. I think
I got arrested for distribution to marijuana and possession of
cocaine once and I I used to put that on
my job applications. Never stopped me from getting a job, now,
mind you you know it was. I worked at a
telemarketing place, I worked at a flower garden, I worked
at a warehouse, I worked in the mall at a
old clothing store.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
Culture, it's just called demo. Never stop me for getting
a job.

Speaker 8 (01:04:29):
Yeah, me stealing people's identity never got I always got
a job.

Speaker 20 (01:04:33):
See.

Speaker 9 (01:04:34):
Yeah, So that's why I mean, be honest on your
job application. Yeah, because they still Yeah. But no, like no,
because the people who look at the applications. No, I've
been that person before. I'm like nah, no, no, no,
no possession what please know? Like I wouldn't hire somebody
feel like actually, identity theft. That means everybody in here
is in danger.

Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
Yeah, but you're gonna get fired anyway when they find
out that you like.

Speaker 9 (01:04:58):
But they know you know, rather tell they run background checks,
and then I still get the job because I'm a charmer.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
But that's what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
I would rather tell the truth and present as the
person that I am, which is the guy who's changed
his life. Then you hire me and you're helping me
change my life, and now you get blessed because you're
helping somebody change that.

Speaker 9 (01:05:15):
I was scared that they don't even give you that.
They don't even give you the chance to explain. Some
jobs just go through your application and be like, oh,
she's still people. Yeah right, wow, you know I'm not
doing it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
So you got of stealing? Yes, you know. It's so crazy.
It's funny.

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
She stole a white person's identity then filled out the
application as the white white person.

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:05:34):
The funny thing is is Sydney, who's one of the
people producers that work up here. I could I was like,
where's my wallet? Just knew exactly where the wilet.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
Right now, just like right there. I'm like, oh okay,
put it right next to my.

Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
Put it next to your person she got arrested for
stealing pork shoulders from mom.

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Oh my god, I'm not messing with you. Let's go
through the froll line. Hello, who's this quiety? How you doing?

Speaker 19 (01:06:07):
That?

Speaker 11 (01:06:07):
Was an expecting an answer?

Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
I'm sorry laughing.

Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
Somebody stole yeah slayer who got a record for stealing
pork shoulders?

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
One time?

Speaker 11 (01:06:13):
For you?

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
Have you have a lot on your job application?

Speaker 25 (01:06:16):
I have?

Speaker 11 (01:06:17):
What did you lie about being convicted of a felony?

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
What was the felony?

Speaker 11 (01:06:21):
Man, I don't want to disclose that.

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Okay, So what happened? Did you get Did you get
the job?

Speaker 11 (01:06:27):
I did get the job.

Speaker 15 (01:06:29):
But the bad part is when I tell the truth,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
Get the job.

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
That's the thing.

Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
That's what I'm saying. Like, no, Yo, sometimes you don't
even make it to explain.

Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Do you believe in God? Yes, she's doing Sorry, Mama,
I'm hanging up on people. Hellone, Hey, what's your name?

Speaker 22 (01:06:44):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Yeah, you definitely lied on the job. Did you lie
the applications?

Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
You know, I'm mostly on experience, but one time I
loved on just saying that I was bilingual, that I
could speak full Spanish, and at the time I could
not show like at all, like not really, it was
real gringo. And so I lied and I got the job.
And then I had to prove in the meeting and
do a meeting in Spanish, and I sounded like Frank

(01:07:11):
Purdue speaking Spanish to an entire boardroom.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Now, imagine if you had to prove he was bisexual.
That is a good point.

Speaker 5 (01:07:19):
What what what's on your thinking about it? I don't
even know how we got there. I don't know how
we got there.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
Hello, the most bisexual?

Speaker 18 (01:07:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:07:33):
Hello?

Speaker 11 (01:07:35):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
What's your name? Mama?

Speaker 26 (01:07:36):
Asia?

Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
He looks he sounds so sorry? What's depressed? Get the job?

Speaker 15 (01:07:43):
In the y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
Excitement?

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
What's that?

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
I'm good?

Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
How you.

Speaker 14 (01:07:50):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
You lied on the resume?

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (01:07:53):
Who is a lie?

Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Where you work at?

Speaker 14 (01:07:55):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
I work at Walmart?

Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Wu? Okay, what's your name again? As Walmart? Where Walmart?

Speaker 14 (01:08:06):
Ware? As?

Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
You don't worry as I was about to get fired today.
What did you put on your application? Asia? What you
said your whole resumes a lie? What did you lie about?

Speaker 4 (01:08:25):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
I redo it.

Speaker 15 (01:08:27):
I redid my whole resume and put managed to supervisor.
So that's who I am at my job. Because I
got tired of working being a regular employee, real movie.

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
So I'm not mad at that.

Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
I mean, stuff like that just makes me wonder, like, Yo,
maybe that's what you're supposed to be doing. Like you
know how many people who have you know, taken a
little shortcuts and cheated a little bit to get ahead?

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Why can't you Asia? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:08:51):
But the problem with Asia is, as you're gonna tell you,
she lies, She's gonna give you her first name, her
last name, where she worked at.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
Maybe she shouldn't be thanks for the crime sound you
should be in the check eight five a five one
five Have you ever lied on an application? A resume?
Let's discuss This's the Breakfast Ucole Morning. Let's say if

(01:09:19):
you're all talking about it, you know we talking about it.

Speaker 29 (01:09:22):
It's topic times called eight hundred five five one five
one to join into the discussion with the Breakfast.

Speaker 5 (01:09:27):
Club Morning, everybody, It's DJ Envy Jess Hilarious, Charlamage the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club. If you're just joining us
Charlamage donkey data who.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
A person named Stephen Bodley.

Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
Stephen Bodily is a man from Florida and he's facing
a life sentence because he admitted on a job application
he was applying to be a police officer, so they
have a sworn application. He admitted that he sexually abused
a child at a point in his life. So we're asking,
have you ever lied on a job application? All right,
we have Josh on the line, Josh, good morning, go

(01:10:00):
to gome on that done. You have a lot on
the job application.

Speaker 16 (01:10:04):
Oh yeah, I ain't gonna lie. Did I ain't gonna
lie like uncleshall. I always say that the line is
way more entertained than the truth. So when you folks
see that you did all these accolades, they're like, oh wow,
But the kids, you got to go in there and
do the work. The work is gonna to fight that lie.
So and the lot mostly be on the resume, though
you tell them that you did hid, because the applications

(01:10:26):
only ask like your birthday and have you had previous jobs?
But that lie, that one line told them the application
or whatever it got me in. I've been on that
same job for the last five years. They never knew
I lie. All I can go in there and do
is the work.

Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
So now's a question what happens when they call your references?

Speaker 16 (01:10:44):
Though, Well, you put the references down that would lie
for you. Oh you know what I mean. It's twenty
twenty four. These jobs just want to body. They don't
want to know what you did then. They asked those questions.
But be real with you. Show me the job, and
I feel like I can do it as well as you.

Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
You're making a good point.

Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
That's true because I would be telling these jobs now. Honestly,
it don't matter what I did back then. You know
what I'm saying, Because what I did back then, I
wasn't the best version of myself. I'm a way better
version of myself. Now you should want me.

Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
Well, you know what he said is true.

Speaker 5 (01:11:15):
They say a lot of people don't want to work,
and a lot of these businesses is hard to find
people that actually want to work, so they really don't matter.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
I guess, hello, who's.

Speaker 15 (01:11:22):
This good morning?

Speaker 1 (01:11:24):
Is Amayaya? You'll never get a job with that name on.

Speaker 11 (01:11:29):
That application gets a job because I'd be lying on
my resume.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
Okay, what you be saying, I take.

Speaker 15 (01:11:36):
That GPT, I copy and paste the job this question,
and I tell that GPT to tailor my resumes to
the job I'm applying for.

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
That's smart.

Speaker 4 (01:11:45):
I'm gonna tell you something else too. When it comes
to line on your job applications, A Maya, what's your name?

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Jamayah?

Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
Let me most of these employers employers, right, I would
look at these people. I would take I would I
would take into consideration why they're lying. If they're lying,
because they're actually trying to get a job, and they're
trying to better theirself and they know that I'm black,
or I got a name like Dumunji and I'm probably
gonna get denied. I would lie to give myself a
better opportunity to get the job. Like you should factor

(01:12:13):
that in, say I definitely got it.

Speaker 15 (01:12:16):
You know, sometimes you definitely gotta stretch.

Speaker 11 (01:12:18):
The truth for a little bit.

Speaker 26 (01:12:20):
Well, congratulate, they're not going to hire somebody names the
Maya just off the shript.

Speaker 7 (01:12:24):
You know, I gotta what's your last name?

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
What's your last name?

Speaker 14 (01:12:28):
Brown?

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Oh?

Speaker 14 (01:12:29):
My hell?

Speaker 11 (01:12:31):
Yeah, your black name.

Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
The African ancestry is ninety nine point seven ninety nine
point seven percent West African, So maya Brown, Yeah, you
don't get no blacker. Maybe Washington Jackson too, Jackson and Jenkins?
Maybe Jenkins?

Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
Hello, who's this Jenkins? What's J.

Speaker 11 (01:12:51):

Speaker 1 (01:12:54):

Speaker 11 (01:12:57):
All right, so I did it right, So y'all tell
me your homie. Uh so I'm a gang banker. I
was convicted and I lied because you know, I needed
the job. The job was playing really well. It was paying,
like you know what I'm saying, one forty for like
the hour or something. And it started off as like,
you know, I bring like some video games for the kids.

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
You know, it was fun.

Speaker 11 (01:13:17):
And then I kind of got a little bit more
intors start doing like empowered upstandards anti bullying, and you
know what I'm saying, My life ain't always been great,
but uh all right, I'm putting like this, I ain't.
But if I can help the world be, then you
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (01:13:31):
First of all, man, you you you are, and the
reason you are is because you are trying to better
your life.

Speaker 1 (01:13:37):

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
Don't talk to don't talk to the homie like that.

Speaker 11 (01:13:46):
No, No, I'm just saying. You know what I'm saying, like,
you know some things out there in my past, you know, yeah,
a lot on my application. But I'm still like the
ally kids love me, man. Put it like that. Kids
like me, they understand, they know what is what? But
uh uh, what's that connection? Decisions? Understanding yourself And it's
a lot of kids that don't even know how to
express themselves yet. So like, but when I do see

(01:14:08):
someone express themselves, if I can see teach somebody something,
you know what I'm saying, that make me feel good inside.
It's just you know what I'm saying, I'm kind of happy.
I'm glad on my applications. A lot more people need
to lie on that they're doing stuff like I'm doingected.

Speaker 1 (01:14:20):
I think you should work with disabled kids. Why, oh
