Florida Georgia Line Are "Sittin' Pretty" With New Song

Florida Georgia Line got us in the mood for the weekend (among other things).

The country stars' latest single, "Sittin' Pretty," is a laid back, stripped down song about, er, strippin' down. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley sing about their special someone being the only thing on their to-do list before jumping into the infectious chorus.

"Don't matter if we're sitting on the porch, in the car, at a bar / Or a boat down in Panama city / Gonna be a hell of a view / I'm just fine long as I'm sitting next to you sittin' pretty / I'm sitting pretty good, I'm sitting pretty," they croon during the sultry love song's chorus.

The song follows FGL's early summer single "Simple," a song that mirrors its title with straightforward instrumentation and vocal-forward production. Could these simpler songs be the beginning of a new direction for the two-piece? They seem to think so.

“It’s gonna be our strongest record yet,” Hubbard promises PEOPLE while discussing the duo's upcoming fourth studio album. “We both think it’s the coolest thing to get in a room and find a song that wasn’t there when we started. It’s addicting. We love collaborating, but it’s all about quality over quantity for us.”

Though we don't know much about the new record (they haven't announced a title or release date yet) FGL has confirmed there'll be a collaboration with their good friend Jason Aldean, and they can't wait for fans to hear it.

"I just think it can't come soon enough," Kelley tells PopCulture.com abour the upcoming song. "I think it's a smash. It's a big old smash. We had a really good time in the studio. That was one of the few collaborations that we've done where we were in the studio together, all there and there was definitely magic in the room. It felt good already. He brought the thing to life and I think we've presented it in a way that's different, that's fresh and it feels like a big old anthem."

Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer to hear that big old anthem ourselves.
