See Steve Perry Sing "No More Cryin'" From New Album 'Traces'

Steve Perry's comeback continues this week as the legendary ex-Journey frontman has revealed the second single from his upcoming new album.

"No More Cryin'" arrives three weeks after Perry's return to music with his album's lead single, "No Erasin'," and four weeks ahead of the new album, Traces, due out October 5.

Traces will be Perry's first new music release in over 20 years. He claims his hiatus was brought on by a combination of mental exhaustion from years of non-stop touring and lingering injuries that went untreated.

During his time away from the stage and the studio, Perry admitted in a recent interview with Q104.3 New York's Jim Kerr Rock and Roll Morning Show that he didn't do anything music-related; he didn't even sing.

The new album is dedicated to Perry's late-girlfriend, Dr. Kellie Nash, who passed away of breast cancer in 2012.

Perry says his relationship with Nash helped wake up his long-dormant creative side and encouraged him to begin writing music and singing again. A few years after her death, he began writing what became Traces.

Perry says he will tour again, but he has yet to announce plans.
