Devin Dawson Teaches How to Make His Own Signature Cocktails (VIDEO)

Devin Dawson has a lot to celebrate. Earlier this year, he released his debut full-length album, Dark Horse, which includes his debut single "All On Me" and his latest single "Asking For A Friend," AND he is currently on the road with Brett Eldredge on the country star's "The Long Way Tour."  Dawson is also preparing to go out on his own headlining tour, the "Stray Off Course Tour," which kicks off in November.

So, what better way to celebrate all of Devin's success than to raise our glasses with a delicious cocktail? Well, Devin has two signature cocktails, the first of which is called "The Devin Dawson Black and White Cocktail." Any fan of Devin's knows his affinity for black clothing and black and white photos, so this is the perfect drink to emulate the country star. Find out how to make it below.

"The Devin Dawson Black and White Cocktail"

Devin describes this as his "spin" on the White Russian. Take a look at what you'll need below.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Shot of Kahlua
  • 1 Shot of Vodka
  • 1/2 Shot of Amaretto
  • 1 Shot of Half & Half

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step1: Fill your glass with ice (use an ice scooper, do not put your glass into the ice).

Step 2: Mix all of your dark liquors first. Add a shot of Kahlua to your glass, followed by the vodka, and then the Amaretto.

Step 3: Time to add the white! Devin likes his signature drink on the darker side, so be delicate when adding the half and half, so that it floats on top.

And voila! Enjoy your Devin Dawson Black and White Cocktail! Cheers.

"The Asking For A Friend Cocktail"

Devin describes this cocktail as "spicy" with "a little kick to it."

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Shot of Lime Juice
  • 2 Tsp of Sriracha
  • 1/2 Tsp of Worcestershire
  • Salted Rim Glass
  • 1 Shot of Lime Juice
  • 1 Bottle of Mexican Beer

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Salt the rim of your glass by dipping the rim into lime juice, and then into salt.

Step 2: Mix your lime juice, Sriracha, and Worcestershire sauce in the glass.

Step 3: Pour your bottle of beer on top into the glass.

And there you have it! Your *spicy* "Asking For A Friend" cocktail.
