Mumford & Sons are finally back with new music. Leading with singles "Guiding Light" and "If I Say," the band is releasing their new album Delta, which follows 2015's Wilder Mind.
Delta is Mumford & Sons' fourth full-length studio album, and showcases 14 new songs inspired by a number of different subjects. During a recent interview with iHeartRadio, the band explained, "All of our albums have been autobiographical and it's been an interesting period in our lives. We've gone through a lot of world transitioning, so a lot of people assume that the minute you're legally an adult is the time you become one, [but] it actually feels like that comes a few years later. And we've done a lot of growing up over the last couple of years. You're kind of wrestling with some very big subjects and that's what we use music for." They add, "It just feels like there's more to it this time around. That this album is very dense in material because our lives are actually incredibly dense in what's been going on. I think you can pick up on a lot of the things really just by the individual songs."
To celebrate the release of Delta, Mumford & Sons met one of their biggest fans, Jenny, and faced off against them in a game of trivia about themselves. Jenny, who is from Delaware, drove up four hours to iHeartRadio HQ in New York City with her twin sister after being chosen for Fan vs. Artist Trivia. Jenny and the band were asked questions about Mumford & Sons' music, milestones and more.
