Curb Your Enthusiasm Star Dead At 76

Bob Einstein, who was known for his recurring role as Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm has died at the age of 76 following a battle with cancer. The two-time Emmy Award winner started his career as a writer, winning his first Emmy as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour in 1972. He would also win an Emmy as the producer of Van Dyke and Company in 1976.

Einstein's brother, Albert Brooks, announced the news on Twitter, calling him a "great brother, father and husband."

In addition to his recent roles on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development, Enstien gained fame in the early '70s portraying the eccentric and goofy stuntman, Super Dave Osborne. His character was a late-night staple, appearing on Late Night With David Letterman and even starring in his own show Super Dave from 1987-1991.
