Celine Dion Had The Classiest Response For Her Body-Shaming Critics

Celine Dion won't allow body-shamers to get the best of her.

Recent photographs of the legendary singer's svelte shape have drawn concern from Dion's followers on social media, specifically those capturing the 50-year-old at Paris Fashion Week.

"Fantastic my dear as usual," one user tweeted in response to an image of the slim star modeling a silver powersuit at the h aute couture event. "But I'm a little worried bout' your health, sometimes you look too… skinny and weak. And tired. ¿Are you ok, hunny?"

More users followed with even more ignorant sentiments, deriding Dion as "scary skinny" to "anorexic." Another so-called admirer pled , " Please Eat A Hamburger. You Don't Look Healthy At All My Dear."

Despite the negative, unsolicited attention directed at her frame, the "Power of Love" artist said she's unbothered by her detractors. “I’m doing this for me. I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine and sexy. It's always been a part of me," she told Dan Wootton during an interview for The Sun .

"I’m 50 years old, it’s not to try to take chances, it’s what I want to wear," she continued. "I want to do whatever I choose to be. I have an opportunity to wear haute couture … If I like, I don’t want to talk about it. They can discuss it."

Dion wrapped up the subject with a boss-like PSA: "Don’t bother, don't take a picture," she said. "If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone."
