Camila Cabello says her Grammys performance is one you'll never forget.
The former Fifth Harmony star, who is set to open the 61st Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 10) alongside Ricky Martin , Young Thug , J BALVIN and Arturo Sandoval , held a private concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles this week. In a chat with Entertainment Tonight before the show, the 21-year-old spoke of her exciting Grammys set which she promises will be one to watch.
"Well, there's definitely some surprises that are going to happen," she told ET . "But the priceless moment I'm looking for, I really just want to enjoy it. That is my resolution for this year."
"If something's really important to you and you really, really care about it, don't forget to just soak it in," she continued, adding, "Because sometimes you can keep working for something and you do it, you do it right, but it doesn't mean that you necessarily super let yourself go and let yourself enjoy it."
Cabello is up for two prizes this weekend, including Best Pop Solo Performance for her smash hit "Havana" and Best Pop Solo Album for her 2018 self-titled debut album, Camila.
Aside from rehearsing for her big production, the "Never Be the Same" star has been busy at work on her sophomore album . While details are bare, it appeared the songstress might be collaborating with former music partner Shawn Mendes for her follow-up record as well. And just last week, Cabello gave fans a sneak peek of her new music on social media — and Momma Cabello approves !
Additionally, Cabello is nominated for several iHeartRadio Music Awards this year, including Best Fan Army. Fans can vote via Twitter using the appropriate category and nominee hashtags, or by visiting iHeartRadio.com/awards through March 7 (March 13 for Best Fan Army).
