At the beginning of the year, Mark Morton released a song he had written with Chester Bennington called "Cross Off," and on Tuesday (March 5), the Lamb of God guitarist shared the track's chilling visuals. The video shows a man fighting an invisible force inside a parking garage, while Morton, along with Trivium’s Paolo Gregoletto and Alex Bent, perform. Every now and then, the camera moves to an empty microphone. Not once do we see any footage of the late Linkin Park frontman.
Though eerie, the clip is fitting for the song's subject matter — Bennington sings about his struggles with inner turmoil and mental illness — and like his tragic passing in the summer of 2017, just months after writing this song, the demons prevail by the end of the video.

Days after Morton initially dropped the song back in January, Bennington's friend and bandmate Mike Shinoda shared his thoughts on the collaboration.
"I remember when Chester played this song for me in his car, almost finished," the singer/producer recalled on Twitter. "He was really happy with it. Good stuff, Mark."
"Cross Off" is featured on Morton's solo album Anesthetic, which came out last week.
