Justin Bieber knows how to get peoples' attention.
On Monday (April 1), in honor of April Fools Day, the known prankster shared an ultrasound photo Instagram. Leaving the black-and-white picture caption-less, he left his fans speechless as many wondered if this was his version of a pregnancy announcement or a joke.
As fans speculated the legitimacy of the photo, which iHeartRadio was able to confirm is a widely used sonogram that can be found on Google Images (check it out HERE), Justin then shared a second photo of his wife Hailey Baldwin sitting on a doctor's table with a protruding belly while surrounded by medical professionals. "If U thought it was April fools," Justin captioned the questionable photo.
While his shot of Hailey definitely had some convinced that he and his wife of just a few months are expecting their first child, not all of his Instagram followers bought his story. "Still not convinced tho..🧐," one wrote.
"Me when I eat too much," another fan commented, seemingly hinting that Hailey's stomach could be a food baby.
Despite Justin and Hailey's attempt to sell the pregnancy photos as their own, Hailey appeared to admit that the posts were a joke when she commented "very funny..." shortly after Justin posted the ultrasound photo.
Justin later confirmed that it was all a prank when he shared an ultrasound photo that featured a full grown dog with the caption, "Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS."
As fans know, Justin's prank came just days after he shared that he was trying to become his best self so he could be the best father one day. "So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album .. I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realized and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour," he wrote. "I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be."
"Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health," Justin continued. "I will come with a kick ass album ASAP, my swag is undeniable and my drive is indescribable his love is supernatural his grace is that reliable.... the top is where I reside period whether I make music or not the king said so. 👑 but I will come with a vengeance believe that.. (grammar and punctuation will be terrible pretend it’s a text where u just don’t care).
