Boosie Arrested On Drug & Gun Charges

Boosie remains behind bars after being arrested on drug and gun charges following a traffic stop in Georgia Monday (April 8), TMZ reports.

The 36-year-old rapper and another man by the name of Antonio Allen were reportedly pulled over after a police officer noticed a white Dodge Charger swerving lanes, nearly swiping another vehicle.

Officers found Boosie driving the car, which reportedly reeked of weed. Subsequently, authorities searched the vehicle and reportedly found "a bag of marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun under the passenger seat," where Antonio was sitting. Investigators additionally found a bag of cash. Boosie and Antonio were then arrested. They are being held in Coweta County Jail and they are each "facing marijuana and narcotics possession charges, plus another charge for possession of a firearm," TMZ reports.

This isn't the first time Boosie has been arrested for drug charges. In 2009, he was arrested for a marijuana charge. While serving time for the charge he was busted for trying to smuggle drugs into prison, which extended his sentence. Boosie was released in 2014 and was on parole until 2018, according to TMZ.
