All signs are pointing to Lil Wayne releasing a new album in the coming weeks.
Not only has the legendary rapper been dropping hints about his Funeral project on social media, Ticketmaster seemingly spilled the beans about its release on their website.
As fans know, Wayne, who dropped his long-awaited 13th studio album Tha Carter V in September, announced earlier this week that he will be going on a co-headlining tour with blink-182. So, when pre-sale tickets for the highly-anticipated show became available, fans, of course, flocked to Ticketmaster to secure their seats. However, to their surprise, they got more than expected as the expanded Ticket + Music link revealed that the concert ticket also comes with new music, specifically "Lil Wayne's forthcoming album."
"Your ticket comes with a physical CD per order with your choice of blink-182's or Lil Wayne's forthcoming album," read the blurb. "Approximately 24-48 hours after purchase, you will receive an additional email with instructions on how to redeem your album. US/Canadian residents only. One CD per online order."
While Ticketmaster didn't specifically mention Wayne's Funeral project, fans were quick to speculate on social media that that will be the album included with the concert ticket. Not to mention, we all know artists love to release new music to boost a tour, and since blink-182 dropped their latest single this week, that can only mean one thing — new Weezy is (most likely) coming!
