'The Untouchables' Star Dead At 73

Billy Drago, who acted in over 100 films but made a huge impression on audiences with his role in The Untouchables, has died at the age of 73. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor suffered from complications from a stroke. Drago's chilling portrayal of Al Capone henchman Frank Nitti in 1987's The Untouchables isn't the only part he is known for. Drago played both villains and good guys, working alongside the likes of Chuck Norris and Clint Eastwood. Some other credits to his name include The Hills Have Eyes, The X-Files and Charmed. He was also featured in the 2001 music video for Michael Jackson's "You Rock My World."

One thing Drago really excelled at was dying on-screen, and on YouTube there are multiple compilation videos of him doing just that.

Born in Kansas as William Eugene Burrows, Billy first became a reporter for the Associated Press then made a name for himself as a radio host before getting bitten by the acting bug.

His first gig was in a touring theater group, but soon after he was taking the stage in New York City. He is survived by his two sons, Derrick Burrows and actor Darren Burrows, his grandchildren, and the many actors he worked with, including his Hills Have Eyes costar Laura Ortiz, who posted a tribute to him on Instagram.
