Travis Scott is the proud owner of a $50,000 vending machine!
According to TMZ, the 27-year-old rapper bought the "Astroworld commemorative machine" to be installed in his office. It reportedly features a 49-inch multi-function touchscreen that "makes it easy to navigate the machine's vast offering," which include: sodas from all over the world, cool snacks, Wheaties boxes, and really anything you can think of since it has a feature that allows you to place a custom order to have anything (within reason, obviously) you want to be delivered. But that's not all. The $50K vending machine also projects a 3D spinning hologram image of Travis' Astroworld album cover — talk about getting your money's worth! (LOL)
Travis' expensive food/drink dispenser was designed by Houston-based beverage company Exotic Pop. Its owner Charleston Wilson told TMZ they were happy to deliver when the rapper reached out for a customized vending machine and plan to have it ready for delivery in mid-July when the "The London" rapper ends his European Tour.
News of Travis' big purchase comes days after he released his Reese's Puffs collab, which sold out in mere seconds. "UPDATE All boxes sold out in 30 seconds!," Reese's Puffs' official Twitter tweeted on Tuesday (June 25). As previously reported, La Flame put his Cactus Jack spin on one of America's most beloved cereals — Reese's Puffs. General Mills, the creators of the breakfast food, officially unveiled the special edition, Travis-designed cereal boxes on Tuesday with the launch of a special 'Reese's Puffs' pop-up store in Paris, France.
Travis attended the launch. While there, he met with fans, signed merch, and showed off his cereal boxes, which feature Cactus Jack visuals — specifically, his action figure holding a spoon alongside a big bowl of Reese's Puffs and a large Cactus. The box also features a few doodled drawings and lightning bolts.
To fans' dismay, only an "extremely limited" amount of custom cereal boxes, which sold for $50, dropped on Travis' online shop Tuesday afternoon, Billboard reported.
