Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner's Beloved Puppy Killed By Car In 'Freak Accident'

In tragic news, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are mourning the loss of their pet dog, Waldo Picasso, who was reportedly struck and killed by a car this week.

According to TMZ, who broke the news of the terrible incident, the newlyweds were walking their Alaskan Klee Kai, who was leashed on a dog walker, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan when the pup got scared by a pedestrian and broke loose and ran straight into the street, where Waldo was hit by a vehicle. The "freak accident," as Jonas' rep described it, occurred Wednesday (July 24).

The celebrity news outlet states the "Cake by the Ocean" musician was spotted walking Waldo's brother, Porky, the day after the tragedy, and that the duo waited until Friday (July 26) to file a police report on what happened because they were reasonably and emotionally distraught. In fact, it's said the couple opted to see a therapist after the shocking episode.

The pair welcomed Waldo into their furry family fold in April 2018. Before Waldo, Turner and Jonas had already owned another puppy from the same litter named Porky Basquiat Jonas. The older pooch introduced his little brother in a Instagram post on Porky's personal account, which read: "Me, my parents and I have adopted my actual brother from the same litter. Please welcome my little brother @waldopicassojonas."

As of yet, Sophie nor Joe has commented on the alleged accident.

We're sending our thoughts to the Jonas' at this difficult time, all the same.
