Contrary to multiple reports, Cardi B is not beefing with a bunch of 10-year-olds.
The "Press" rapper took to Twitter to set the record straight after a number of outlets claimed she clapped back at a group of 10-year-old rappers over their diss track about her. "First of all I was talking about a fan base that was coming for me when it comes to album and Grammies and people chopped my video to make it seem like I was talkin about them kids," she tweeted on Wednesday (September 4). "Second why don’t ya go b*tch to the parents that got lil kids talking sh*t about others?"
"This [Instagram Live video] wasn’t about those kids," she clarified. "I was talking about a fan base coming for me cause of a da*n Grammy."
Earlier this week, multiple publications reported that Cardi recorded an Instagram Live session on Monday (September 2) in response to a set of quadruplet brothers' diss track attacking her. "Not gonna let no little f**king white boys come at me all motherf**king day long," she said in the clip. "Motherf**king shut the f**k up and stay in your motherf**king place. Go drink your motherf**king milk, b*tch. F**k." While Cardi did not mention the four boys — Hollywood, Slim Z, BonezMcKoy, and Mr. Great — by name, outlets claimed she was referring to the Westchester natives.
However, as noted by Vice, the IG Live was actually broadcasted in late August around the time she took to twitter to defend her Grammy win for Best Rap Album. As previously reported, Cardi broke down all that went into the creation of her triple-platinum project, Invasion of Privacy, following the release of Travis Scott's Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly. In the documentary, Travis, whose album ASTROWORLD was also nominated for Best Rap Album, talks about being disappointed in not getting the Grammy win, which sparked fans to question why/how Cardi won over the Houston rapper.
