Kate Hudson is the latest in a string of famous moms with huge social media followings to get called out for sharing photos and videos of her kids without permission. It wasn't a mom-shamer or internet troll calling the 40-year-old actress out, either. It was her 15-year-old son Ryder Robinson.
The Fabletics founder took to Instagram to wish her brother Oliver Hudson a very happy birthday with the help of her adorable family. The clip shows Kate, her longtime boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, their baby daughter Rani Fujikawa, and her sons Bingham Bellamy and Ryder singing happy birthday together. "To a man who deserves a huge hip hip hooray for the day he was born!" Kate captioned her post.
Perhaps Ryder thought his mom was only going to text the cute video to his uncle, because after she shared it on Instagram he commented "Mom, you didn't ask me if you could post this." He didn't seem too mad that his mom went rogue, though, because he included the tears of joy emoji in his comment.
Kate isn't the first celeb mama to break this rule, either. Recently, Gwyneth Paltrow got put on blast by her then 14-year-old daughter Apple Martin after sharing a vacation photo without her permission. "Mom we have discussed this," Apple commented on her mom's post. "You may not post anything without my consent."
What do you think: should celeb parents post photos of their kids on social media without permission?
