Chad Gilbert is engaged! On Saturday (December 21), the New Found Glory guitarist shared a heartfelt Instagram post announcing that he proposed to his girlfriend and fellow musician Lisa Cimorelli.
?2019 has been one heck of a year. Many ups but some real lows. Feel like I’ve been tossed around in a washing machine but I’ve come out wiser, stronger, and full of thankfulness (and cleaner hah)," he wrote alongside a candid selfie of himself and his bride to be showing off her bling. "Here I am now ending the year standing on top of a fricken mountain. There are so many things I could try to say to express how I feel about @lisacimorelli in this post but it would just be a failed attempt. To all my friends out there. I did it! Buy me a coffee. Look out for Team Gilbert 2020"
Cimorelli also shared a gallery of photos and videos on Instagram, revealing Gilbert popped the question during one of their nightly walks while friends and family planned a surprise party. The happy couple have been officially dating for just under two years. Check out their adorable announcements below.
The pop punk star was previously married to Paramore's Hayley Williams. They announced their split in 2017, and though they were only married for around a year and a half they had been together for nearly a decade.
