Linkin Park released its debut album, HYBRID THEORY, in October 2000 and to mark the 20th-anniversary, the band is planning something special.
On Friday (March 6), the band took to social media to ask fans to help celebrate 20 years of the11-times platinum album. “We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory all year long and want you to be a part of it,” the caption on the photo read.
In the post, the band detailed how it wants fans to participate in the anniversary and asked them to submit photos, videos, ticket stubs, merch, flyers, souvenirs, signed items and more from the late 90s through the HYBRID THEORY era of 2000-2002.
While Linkin Park hasn't given more detail about what they're planning on doing, fans are more than excited to be part of the anniversary and wasted no time submitting their own memorabilia.

While the anniversary will be a celebration of the album, it'll also be a bitter sweet moment for the band and fans alike as they remember Linkin Park's late singer, Chester Bennington, who died in 2017.
Bennington's first band, Grey Daze, is also celebrating the singer with a tribute album (out April 10) in his honor. Before his death, Bennington made plans to reunite with Grey Daze and re-record music but never got the chance to.
Fans can check out the inaugural 320 Festival, a benefit concert and mental health summit put on by Bennington's widow Talinda, at Los Angeles' LA Live on May 9.
