Ben Affleck has been spending a lot of time with Ana de Armas lately.
The Deep Water co-stars sparked romance sparked romance rumors when they were spotted together in Havana, Cuba. The actors, who just wrapped their new movie recently, visited the Knives Out actress’ homeland on Friday (March 6) and were photographed by onlookers who noticed the celebrities casually hanging out together.
As revealed in images shared to fashion brand Clandestina’s Instagram Stories, Affleck and Armas were can be seen walking throughout the store. Fans shared more photos and videos capturing Affleck, wearing a baseball tee, speaking Spanish to locals and posing in multiple photos alongside Armas.
One user, who took a selfie with Batman in the flesh, reportedly told Entertainment Tonight that there was really no affection between he and Armas, noting, “They looked like friends, but who knows.” Other fan-shot pictures, however, appear to suggest something more, as Affleck and Armas seemed closer than “just friends” in the group photo, below.
Armas and Affleck play lovers in their upcoming psychological thriller (in theaters November 13), which follows a married couple who have fallen out of love with each other begin playing deadly mind games against one another that begins seeing those around them dying.
The 31-year-old actress spoke fondly of the project and working alongside her co-star, telling ET, "It's pretty exciting. I don't think I've ever done anything like it, and it's a genre that I have never played … I love Ben, and everything's going well, but it's too soon to even know what it's going to be like."
Affleck and Armas' comes weeks after the Way Back performer confessed his failed marriage with actress Jennifer Garner was "the biggest regret" of his life, and expressed he feels grateful for having Garner as the mother of their three children.
