Keith Urban is doing what he can to bring a smile to fan's faces during the COVID-19 pandemic. The country singer performed an impromptu concert on Instagram Live to entertain everyone stuck at home.
In the video, Urban played guitar and sang in the basement of his home. "I just thought it would be nice to be able to play anyway," Urban explained to fans. "Even though we can't be in front of all of you guys tonight, I wanted to be able to play and just play some songs and bring a little bit of entertainment to y'all's screens."
His wife, Nicole Kidman, made the video even better as she danced and sang along to the entire 30-minute set. "Just loved getting to sing and dance with you all," Kidman captioned a photo she shared on herself on Instagram after the online show.
Urban was originally scheduled to play a show in Houston this week, but like most other shows, it was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns. Although nothing tops a live show, Urban's basement gig is definitely the second best thing.
Urban recently released "God Whispered Your Name," which is his first new music in 2020. The song is expected to be included on his upcoming new album which he's said is "coming out very soon."
