If you were wondering what it would take for Marcus Mumford to join Instagram, the answer is apparently a pandemic. On Tuesday (March 24) the Mumford & Sons frontman finally joined the social media platform, and gave fans a nice little surprise in the process: he's releasing a song with Diplo's Major Lazer on Thursday (March 26).
"Here’s a curveball for you. Something I’ve been excited about for a while. On Thursday at 7:30PM GMT, I’m releasing a song with@majorlazer, it’s called Lay Your Head on Me, and it’s a banger," he wrote in his very first post.

"Lay Your Head on Me" isn't the only new music Mumford shared with fans this month. Last week, he and his bandmates released a song called "You'll Never Walk Alone," and are donating proceeds to coronavirus relief. All record royalties and record company profits from the track will go to Grenfell Foundation and Warchild UK.
