Riverside animal shelter runs out of adoptable pets amid COVID-19 outbreak

Staff at Riverside County Animal Services adoption center smile gleefully in a photo as they show their empty facility. Since the coronavirus pandemic animal adoption centers have been giving out dogs faster than they expected.

"The community has come forward to our plea to help us adopt and foster animals. And right now at our facility, we have no animals for adoption," said Animal Services Director Julie Bank in a video posted to the Riverside County Animal Services Facebook page.

They are extremely happy about it and are very thankful that all their dogs now have a home.

If you are looking for a dog you can search online and the companies can coordinate curbside pickups or schedule a delivery to the adopter’s home.
