Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Caught On Video Secretly Delivering Meals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent Easter Sunday giving back in Los Angeles. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to Project Angel Food, which cooks and delivers over 600,000 meals each year, free of charge, to the homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses, and helped them carry out their mission by delivering those meals themselves.

Shortly after the news broke that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been out secretly delivering meals across L.A. county twice in recent weeks, TMZ obtained a video of them in action. The video, which you can watch over on TMZ, shows a hardly recognizable Harry and Meghan in baseball caps, face coverings and gloves as they arrive at an apartment complex.

Project Angel Food's CEO Richard Ayoub recounted his experience with the Sussexes' on a phone call with KOST's Ellen K Morning Show on Thursday (April 17). "On Easter Sunday, the Duke and Duchess wanted to be of service," Ayoub recalled. "They wanted to see some of Project Angel Food's clients, so they came in. I gave them a tour of the kitchen and one of the very first questions I asked was 'how should I refer to you? As Duke and Duchess?' Their quick response was 'No, Harry and Meghan.'"

"They've been doing this quietly. They've delivered meals to 20 different clients," Ayoub continued. "They told me they were overwhelmed with the gratitude they got from the clients."

In addition to helping Project Angel Food's clients, Harry and Meghan also "wanted to give our drivers a break. Most of our drivers make 50-60 deliveries a day," Ayoub explained. "They wanted to lighten the load and they're really concerned about the vulnerable communities that we serve."

One Project Angel Food recipient spoke with WeHoVille.com about his experience with Harry and Meghan and shared they were super down to Earth. “I thought that tall red-headed guy looked pretty familiar, and that girl was very pretty. Then I saw the large black SUVs with the security guards behind them,” Dan Tyrell shared. “If they had given me the heads up, I would have worn my tiara!”
