Lil Xan had to be rushed to the hospital due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to TMZ, who broke the story this morning, the rapper has been hospitalized since Sunday (April 19) after suffering a panic attack at his mother’s California home, where Xan has been quarantining amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Apparently it was the “Betrayed” star’s mom who made the 911 call after witnessing her son suffer from intense hallucinations. Turns out, doctors informed Xan that he’d suffered a panic attack, though the star seemed to have no memory of it.
What’s more, Xan feels his pandemic-induced anxiety might have triggered the terrifying episode — and being inside all day has only made matters worse for his mental health. Although the “Everything I Own” musician has a year-long history of anxiety issues, the outlet indicates this occurrence was one of the worst experiences he’s had considering the times we’ve been facing.
What’s more, Xan’s inability to bring in extra income as his family’s likely sole breadwinner is also probably bringing more added stress. Like many other artists, Xan’s gigs have been cancelled due to the ongoing health crisis.
The 23-year-old has also been unable to release any music, either, as recording studios in the area have also been closed due to California’s stay-at-home lockdown order, during which all non-essential businesses are closed. Right now, the state has over 33,800 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and more than 1,200 people have died due to the novel disease.
Despite the unfortunate news of his recent hospitalization, TMZ reports Xan’s recovering from his latest attack.
