6ix9ine Teases New Music, Gets The Okay From Judge To Film Videos

Tekashi 6ix9ine is preparing for his comeback.

On Wednesday (April 29), the "FEFE" rapper took to Instagram Story to tease his return, and seemingly new music, captioning a funny face emoji, "You ready? May 8th." The date, which is also his 24th birthday, is rumored to be the day 6ix9ine drops new music.

The 23-year-old rapper's post came just after a judge granted 6ix9ine permission "to conduct employment-related activities outside of the residence but within the confines of the rented property." In short, he can now film music videos in his backyard.

In the legal documents, which were obtained by TMZ, the judge said Tekashi can now "perform employment-related activities for two hours per week and one specific day that needs advanced approval by the probation officer." He's also allowed to do work in his basement but it's "limited to no more than an 8-hour period per day" with a schedule also approved by the probation officer, the outlet reports.

Earlier this month, 6ix9ine, who was set to be released from prison on August 2, was granted a compassionate release from a New York facility — which allows him to serve the rest of his 2-year sentence from home — following fears of him possibly contracting the coronavirus while behind bars.
