Eminem Confronted An Intruder In His Living Room

Eminem had a real life "Stan" situation to deal with when the rap titan encountered an intruder in his Detroit home.

As per TMZ, an intruder slipped by his security team and made his way into Slim Shady's living room. The incident went down earlier this month around 4 a.m. at the gated residence. Em woke up by an alarm to find Matthew David Hughes, 26, and screamed for security, who came and grabbed the intruder. He reportedly used a paving stone to smash a kitchen window and climb inside the house.

Authorities were called to the rapper's home, where Hughes was taken into custody and booked on charges of first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of a building. Hughes did not steal any possessions and, if anything, seemed as if he wanted some face time with the rapper. He is still being held on a $50k bond at the Macomb County Jail.

Reports that Em’s security team was sleeping are incorrect as two sources close to TMZ admitted they were at the front of the property, while the intruder snuck in through the back.
