Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Shared A Video Of Archie On His First Birthday

While it was initially reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would publicly mark their son Archie's first birthday by releasing a new photo of him, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did something a little different for the special occasion. The proud parents teamed up with Save the Children UK—a nonprofit organization that aims improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities—to share an adorable video of Meghan reading to Archie with their followers.

In the video, Archie sits on his mom's lap as she reads Duck! Rabbit! to him. The cameraman (aka Prince Harry) can be heard laughing along as Archie squirms around or flips to the wrong page. The Sussex family is using this opportunity to bring attention to Save the Children's COVID-19 relief efforts, which they encourage anybody viewing the video to donate to.

"Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex reads "Duck! Rabbit!" for Archie's birthday," Save the Children's caption reads. "Duck! Rabbit! with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex (and Harry, The Duke of Sussex behind the camera), read to their son Archie for his 1st birthday. Happy Birthday, Archie!"

Save the Children aslo thanked Meghan "for helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading Duck! Rabbit!" If you donate as a result of watching this adorable video of Meghan and Archie, the organization shared those funds will "support the most vulnerable families in the UK and around the world by helping to provide early learning packs, supermarket vouchers, essential household items and virus protection."

Happy first birthday, Archie!
