Kristin Cavallari has been accused of posting a Mother's Day message to herself on Jay Cutler's Instagram account and there's proof as to who has the keys to the latter's social media platform.
As the pair's divorce continues to spiral, fans noticed that Cutler's account shared a sweet message for the holiday, writing, "Happy Mother's day to all the moms. These 3 little ones picked a good one." It's arguably a strange (but kind) message amid their messy path towards separation, but many Cutler fans were quick to accuse the E! reality star of being the person behind the @ifjayhadinstagram account. Low and behold, USA Today seemingly reported in 2018 that Cavallari told fans that she is indeed the person behind the former NFL player's account. "I think there needs to be a little clarification on Jay's Instagram," she reportedly said at the time on her Instagram Stories. "It’s not him running it. It’s me. It’s what Jay would have if he had Instagram."
The two parried in 2013 while Cutler was a quarterback for the Chicago Bears. In 2017, he retired to pursue a career in broadcasting but came out of retirement to spent one season with the Dolphins, which was met with a chest injury. Shortly after, the couple starred in the E! reality series, Very Cavallari, but that business move apparently didn't align with Cutler's goals. It's possible that Cutler has since taken over his own account, but the post seems suspect — especially considering the negative report that surfaced about the former couple in recent days.
According to Page Six, a source revealed that it was Cutler's "unmotivated" ways that led to the pair's demise. An sinider told the celebrity gossip outlet that Cavallari thought Cutler was "lined up for a demanding career as a sport broadcaster," but that didn't exactly happen. "She was growing increasingly impatient with him. He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something,” an insider explained. “Instead, he backed out — this is [three] years ago — and joined the [Miami] Dolphins. That didn’t pan out well, and he was left with no TV gig until she got the show for them."
"[Cavallari] views herself as very polished and put together, and [Cutler as] this lazy, unmotivated guy," the source continued.
