Steel Panther Announce Ticketed Virtual 'Concert To Save The World' In June

Steel Panther has announced the band's first-ever completely live, socially distanced virtual concert, taking place on Sunday, June 7, at 5 p.m. ET.

The 'Concert to Save the World' will be streamed live from a sanitized undisclosed location in Los Angeles, using multiple cameras and featuring the Panther's full live production.

The band members will remain six-feet apart for the duration of the production, and they will take breaks during the set to interact with fans live around the globe.

"This concert is guaranteed to, at the very least, have our microphones plugged in and facing the right direction," the band said in a statement. "We feel like heavy metal hasn't been represented in any recent broadcasts. It is time to bring spandex and hairspray back to the forefront and ripping guitar solos into your living rooms. Additionally, Steel Panther would like to inform you that it is totally legal to attend this concert naked!"

Tickets to the groundbreaking virtual show cost $15 each. Proceeds from each ticket will benefit Heavenly Pets Animal Rescue (the animal shelter that hosted the band's All Day Kitty Cam last week) and Live Nation's Crew Nation Fund, which benefits touring personnel who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans who purchase Steel Panther's latest guitar distortion pedal, the B---hole Burner, will get a free ticket. The band will also give away three pedals live during the show, as well as a guitar, merchandise from longtime sponsor Monster Energy, a year's supply of Monster, a Jambox a skateboard and other items.
