Camila Cabello is plotting something fun for her Camilizers!
The singer-songwriter revealed she has a special project planned in the weeks to come. Taking to her Instagram Stories last night (May 12), the “Havana” star posted a Boomerang-style clip of her at home with her microphone and guitars on hand, hinting a what looks to be more new music to come.
“I’m so excited to show u guys what I’m working on!!!” she captioned the clip. “Fun little project I’ve been doing, you guys will see in the next couple weeks!”
The surprise comes just a week after Cabello celebrated her sophomore studio album, Romance, going platinum.
The record, which released through Epic Records and Syco Music in December 2019, generated singles like “Liar,” “Living Proof,” “Shameless,” “Easy,” and “Cry for Me.” The LP also includes songs featuring DaBaby (“My Oh My”) and Shawn Mendes, the latter of whom appears on the chart-topping 2019 collaboration “Senorita.”
To promote Romance, Cabello announced she would embark on “The Romance Tour,” initially set to launch in Europe later this month before venturing to North America. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the songstress announced she’d be pushing back the tour due to health and safety concerns.
"I'm truly heartbroken to say that we've decided we need to postpone the tour," she wrote back in March. "We can't start rehearsals without putting people at risk and with so much up in the air with no real and definitive end in sight, I feel this is the responsible thing to do. We will do our best to reschedule as soon as we are able to, expect more info in the near future."
