Promoter Danny Wimmer Presents is launching a new streaming series, Offstage With DWP, that's set to feature performances from past festivals, interviews, exclusive acoustic sets and more. The series is set to kick off Friday (June 12) at 7pm EST / 4pm PST with Metallica's 2017 headlining set from MAPRFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
“Additional content to be posted in the coming weeks includes selected songs from the Foo Fighters’ headline set at Sonic Temple 2019, interviews with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Brent Smith of Shinedown, Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God, Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless, as well as brand new acoustic performances from Tim McIlrath of Rise Against, Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm, a mixology session with Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, and so much more," reads a statement about the series.
Fans can tune in to Offstage With DWP via the promoter's YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels. DWP puts together festivals including Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, Hometown Rising Country Music & Bourbon Festival, Aftershock and Bourbon & Beyond, which have unfortunately been postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
