Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson To Receive Stars On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson, and the Judds, are all set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2021. The three acts are among over two dozen other celebrities who will be added to the landmark next year.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Hollywood Walk of Fame, revealed next year's honorees on Thursday (June 18). Each year, previous Walk of Fame inductees choose honorees who are then approved by the Chamber's board of directors. The categories include Motion Pictures, Television, Live Theatre/ Live Performance, Recording and Radio.

"The Walk of Fame selection panel is pleased to announce 35 new honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Selection Panel, made up of fellow Walk of Famers, hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world," Ellen K, radio personality and chair of the Walk of Fame selection panel, said. "The panel has done an exemplary job in choosing very talented people. We can’t wait to see each and every honoree’s face as they realize that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history as we unveil their star on the world’s most famous walkway!"

In addition to Clarkson, the Judds and Yearwood, the new Recording category Hollywood Walk of Fame inductees include Missy Elliott, Ana Gabriel, The Chi-Lites, Jefferson Airplane, Don McClean, Salt-N-Pepa and Charlie Parker.

Each celebrity will be celebrated with a star unveiling ceremony that will take place sometime in 2021. Further details will be announce in the coming months.
