Emma Roberts is pregnant and expecting her first child with her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, reports Us Weekly.
Speculation about Roberts and Hedlund's relationship initially came about after they were spotted together for the first time in March 2019, while out and about in Los Angeles's Silver Lake neighborhood holding hands. At the time, a source told Us Weekly that the relationship was "new" and "casual."
Over a year later, and it looks like things have heated up between the two, especially with the news of their baby on the way!
Prior to getting together with Garrett, Emma was engaged to Evan Peters, who she had been with for seven years. The pair called off their engagement in March 2019, around the same time she was spotted out with Hedlund. Garrett had dated actress Kirsten Dunst for four years, but they broke up in 2016.
For the most part, Roberts and Hedlund have kept their relationship private, and have not appeared on any red carpets together, but have been spotted out around Los Angeles.
In a May 2019 interview with Cosmopolitan, Roberts said of the importance of keeping relationships private, "I never want to talk about relationships I'm in or that are ending or have ended. It's hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience." She added, of how social media can affect her private life, "Because of Twitter and Instagram, there's a whole other element where everybody can comment on what you’re doing and no one knows the real story. That's hard."
It was recently announced that Roberts is set to co-star, alongside Jack Whitehall, in the comedy film Robots. Meanwhile, Hedlund will appear in the Lee Daniels directed The United States vs. Billie Holiday, and has also appeared in movies including Tron: Legacy, Mudbound, and many others.
