The Aransas Pass Police Department caught on video a small alligator on a burger run on Friday.
The little guy was found outside of a Whataburger in Aransas Pass, which is 20 miles northeast of Corpus Christi. Texas Parks and Wildlife was called into to wrangle the gator.
The alligator looks like it's only a few feet long, but it puts up a big fight. It thrashes around before someone is able to tape its jaws shut. Police say the gator was safely relocated and released away from the Whataburger.
"I guess it goes to show, Whataburger really is the choice of late night snacks for just about everyone, human and animal!" the police department wrote on Twitter.
Alligators are native to Southeast Texas and are a protected species, according to TPWD. Gators tend to leave humans alone unless they feel threatened.
